Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you . I AM JMADDD STYLES , and I would like to take this time out as always to welcome you to my latest blog post. The latest installment in the ongoing series of Fashion between the panels. Fashion between the panels: Mission Impossible 2 . I’m taking you back between the panels of another film classic and pulling out the fashion , to style new inspired looks that are based around this spy thriller. You may be asking , why Mission Impossible 2 out of any of the movies in this franchise ? Well that’s easy , out of any of the movies this one was the most stylishly done. The movie was and is as visually cool as it is fashionable. Easily making it a great backdrop for fashionable inspiration to build new looks from to help you improve your fashionable image. Also more than likely I will return with another Fashion between the panels for another part of The Mission Impossible series. So with that said , let’s get started. By the way should you choose to except this fashionable mission , this blog will self destruct.

This first look that you are look at is inspired from the look that Tom Cruise ( Ethan Hunt ) wore when he was rock climbing in the opening sequence of the movie. The look is a relaxed yet stylish take on an outdoors sportswear style. From the cargo pants to the Shinola sports watch , the look spells adventurous style. Kept simple with a basic tank top , Nike cross trainers , cargo pants and the look is finished with a pair of sports shades , to authenticate the whole look.

For the next inspired look from this movie, it comes from when Thandie Newton ( Nya ) steps on screen . This look is a stylish take on a sexy evening wear party look , the look is done in form fitting lace.

To accent this look I went with a clutch that is also trimmed in lace , to offset the dress. Then to finish the look off I went with the Tory Burch black and gold bracelet , a high heeled opened toe sandal and finished the look off with a subtle gold necklace for a look like this , it’s always good to keep the jewelry simple and subtle. In this movie ( Thandie Newton / Nya , had a few rememberable looks both dressy and casual. Let’s take a look at a few more.

For the next look , it’s a classic summer sundress in white with laser cut out details. As I often say , white looks really good on women especially women of a certain skin tone because it highlights the skin tone. But little known fact that white can look good on pretty much everybody as long as it is styled correctly. In this case the look is highlighted with once again another high heeled sandal done in pink to highlight the scarf and the purse. To finish the look off one again kept the jewelry simple with a white watch.

For this look , it’s a true summer casual look , simple yet with a touch of summer sheek, a good quality form fitting T-shirt , with dark denim. But as always the fashion is in the details , for such a simple look , you can you use more noteworthy accessories. In this case a long silver chain , a plaid trimmed wedge sandal and to top the look off a designer logo belt. This is a look that everyone can pull off and should be in your closet ready to go.

Next let’s take a look at Sean Ambrose ( Dougray Scott ) this character was usually dressed in stylish yet dark clothing to go along with the persona of the character.

For this look I had to make a few minor changes to make the look more up to date . In the movie the look was all black, to capture the look and make it look more now, I went with a blue indigo dark rinse denim blazer and jeans. To set the look off gave it a patterned dress shirt and solid blue tie. To finish the look a designer belt that will show up good against the dark denim. Creating a very stylish dressy casual look or even better a business casual look.

Even with this look it’s still being done in dark colors , although a navy blue suit is always one of my personal favorite go too’s . For this look I had to make a minor change also. I’m not often a fan of dark dress shirts especially black. Sometimes it can work , but up against a navy blue suit a black dress shirt just gets lost no matter how we’ll it’s made. In the original look the actor wore a black shirt with this look. I had to flip it to a white shirt with a high spread collar so the look would look great with or without a tie. Then highlighted the look with a brown dress boot and matching belt.

Next let’s get into Luther’s ( Ving Rhames ) style. In all of these movies the Luther character was always very stylish , and in this movie had a classic line to show he was fashion savvy. ( That Punk punk put a hole in my Versace) .

For this look once again creating a dressy casual look , used a tailored black dress trouser topped off with a black waistcoat. To highlight the look a red T-shirt then a designer belt with gold trim . Finishing the look with a dress boot, this look can really go along way.

For this look , the main piece is the black satin bomber jacket, then the look is built out from there. Keeping with the famous line , I went with a Versace T-shirt and belt as the center pieces of the look. Then finished the look with a cargo pant and casual boot.

To capture this look , as I mentioned a little earlier, I never usually go with a black dress shirt. But for this look it works reasonably well with out getting lost in the actual outfit. Then kept the look simple with a dress boot and black belt. This is one of those suit looks that would jump off better without a tie and just a open button collar.

Now let’s get back to our main character. Ethan Hunt , in all of the Mission Impossible movies, The Ethan Hunt character is always fashionably cool , but especially in part 2 , now let’s take a look.

This look is a very stylish take on a recon look, but to make this everyday stylish , I went with a wingtip boot with a rugged sole to give a casual vibe, from there the look kept in all black to keep the look close to the original and for the recon feel. The look is complete with a casual crew neck a black leather back pack and a mat black belt. In the above look instead of a back pack I went with a fashionable leather back harness , in both looks the black cargoes are a must have to complete the look.

In this film Tom Cruise had so many fashionably cool looks , that would translate well into wearable image enhancing fashion.

Who could forget this scene, this whole scene is so visually cool , that it’s probably one of the most remembered in all the franchise. But not only was the scene visually cool , but it was equally cool from a fashionable standpoint. The look is done in what I call triple black , from the blazer all the way down to the shoes. For the jeans in this look just a basic dark rinse black without any wholes. Creating a look that will definitely stay Instyle for many years to come.

This last look is just a variation from the look that is above this. This is what the look would look like minus the leather jacket and adding in a track sneaker, creating another variation of the recon look.
