The Fashion follow up: SUITSUPPLY: The Reboot.

Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you . I AM JMADDD STYLES , and just incase you didn’t know, you are currently looking at my latest blog post : The Fashion follow up : SUITSUPPLY : The Reboot. The reason that I am labeling this as The Reboot , is because this is a subject or a brand that I have spoke on previously on more than one occasion, but I want to repackage this former blog post with more detail. As I have mentioned in the past , SUITSUPPLY is hands down one of the best retail experiences that you will have , be it the sales personnel that helps you from the time that you walk in the door until the time you leave , or the fit and feel of the clothes that you will not disappoint you in the least bit. Their suits in my experience fit so well that they are just short of being a bespoke or custom made suit. Now I have seen some out there , that will argue that point. But from what I have experienced , and considering that just about every time I’m there , I walk out having made a purchase or plan to make one shortly after , you will feel the same way too. Previously I have referred to it as The SUITSUPPLY Experience. Because rather you are buying off the rack or going with their custom suit service , you will be back for the experience shortly after. Now I’m going to show you how to style and ware the SUITSUPPLY look for both men’s and women’s. So please take a look at and enjoy , my next presentation below. The Fashion follow up : SUITSUPPLY: The Reboot.

All looks in this video , have been styled and arranged by JMADDD STYLES.

Well there it is , we have just reached the end of yet another blog post. As always, I hope you have enjoyed reading it , as much as I enjoyed presenting it. The Fashion follow up : MCM

The Fashion follow up : MCM

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES , and I would like to welcome you to my latest blog post, The Fashion follow up : MCM . For those of you out there , not to familiar with this blog , The Fashion follow up , is when I take a designer or brand that I spoke on or wrote about previously and revisit the brand or designer to see what’s happening with them now. To give you another look at how to style and ware their clothing , also to show if there has been any major changes with the company or the look of the clothing being put out for that season. The MCM brand is hands down one of my favorite Lux brands to talk about , personally ware and to show you how to style for your own personal look and style aesthetic. Well it’s been well over two years or so since I last spoke on this brand and the collaboration that they did with PUMA. Since I last spoke on the brand there has definitely been some changes to the company.

Fashion Stylist Misa Hylton Brim , was brought in as Global Creative Partner of the brand , where she is able to bring her own touch and style to MCM. With her own branded looks called The Remix or The Remix Shop by Misa Hylton. The brand has also help promote a new documentary called The Remix : Hip Hop x Fashion.

Where they showcase the contributions that Misa Hylton along with a few others , have made to fashion in regards to Hip Hop and music in general. Admittedly enough this major move in fashion slipped below my fashionable radar for a little while. But the documentary is very impressive and details how streetwear changed the face of fashion so much that even larger luxury brands such as Gucci and MCM had to take notice via the contributions of Dapper Dan as well as Misa Hylton Brim. Misa Hylton is to MCM almost what Dapper Dan is to Gucci. Much like the way Dapper Dan has his own special and unique branded looks for Gucci , the same goes for Misa Hylton with MCM. She has even used some of her looks on the likes of Beyoncé and Marry J. Bilge.

But what about the clothes ? I’m sure you are asking, how does the new line from MCM and Misa Hylton for MCM look ? Well I can show you better than I can tell you, but isn’t that usually the case ? So now let’s take a look at my latest fashionable production, The Fashion follow up: MCM.

Fashion between the panels: PAID IN FULL.

Fashion between the panels: PAID IN FULL.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to welcome you to my latest blog post. Fashion between the panels: PAID IN FULL. For this latest installment of Fashion between the panels, I’m breaking down the fashion and pulling out new inspired looks, from between the panels of this classic tale of the streets. At this time period, the style , the fashion, was full of swagger and what would be the beginning of high end style mixed with street style , or street fashion. For this particular blog post , it took a little more work and imagination to complete the newly inspired looks from this movie , because a lot of the picture frames , didn’t give you a full look at the fashion. But with a little fashionable inspiration and imagination, I pulled together the looks that you are about see. You will also notice the timelessness of these looks from this fashionable era gone by , as a lot of the styles are back in one form or another. From the early looks of Dapper Dan , all the way to the looks of Dapper Dan right now. From the high end looks of Italian streetwear like Sergio Tacchini and Fila of yesterday, all the way to the return of these brands right now. But I could show you better than I can tell you. So without any further or do , here is my all new fashionable production, inspired by the fashion and swagger of PAID IN FULL.

All looks are styled and arranged by JMADDD STYLES.

As you have just seen the fashion in this movie , captured a whole entire lifestyle, a feel of both luxury and street. The look of unapologetically being flashy yet cool and subtle at the same time. But as always I LET YOU TELL IT.

Well there it is , we have just reached the end of yet another blog post. As always I hope you have enjoyed reading and viewing it , just as much as I enjoyed presenting it. You can shop a lot of these looks at www.farfetch.com , www.mrporter.com , www.tomford.com and www.sergiotacchini.com. I AM JMADDD STYLES and this has been Fashion between the panels : PAID IN FULL. That’s it for now, so until the next time…IM GONE…!!!

The staying power of a streetwear brand: LRG : Lifted Research Group.

The staying power of a streetwear brand: LRG : Lifted Research Group.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES , and this is my latest blog post : The staying power of a streetwear brand: LRG ( Lifted Research Group ) . Today I am talking about something that is near and dear to me in the world of fashion , what is that you may ask ? STREETWEAR , why streetwear? Well it’s because that’s where I got my start in the industry, right about the time when streetwear was on the rise and everyone wanted a piece of it. When I came in Fubu was starting to blow up major , and many other brands with it such as Karl Kani and Maurice Malone. Las Vegas was the place to be to display your brand and the competition was thick. Everyone seemed to be throwing their hat into the streetwear fashion ring, including myself. But that’s another story for another blog post. When it comes to a streetwear brand, not many stand the test of time or have a very long run , for a number of reasons from funding to bad management to not having the right formula for longevity. So when a brand comes along that does stand the test of time, that brand has what I call staying power and LRG has demonstrated over the years that it had what it took to be one of those brands that could stand the test of fashionable time , due to it’s versatility and ability to change with the times and the trends without skipping a fashionable beat.

This is Jonas Bevacqua , the cofounder and original designer of the LRG brand , before passing away in 2011. I know each time that I had ever seen or ran into him at an event or fashion convention, he showed that he lived the brand, he was as much of brand within himself as the actual clothing, which is what helped sell the brand and caused everyone else to want to have a piece of the brand or the lifestyle synonymous with the brand. The fact that the brand still continues to work and sell after his death is proof that he did a good job of selling the LRG style and Lifestyle. The brand did something that most brands in the streetwear genre had not accomplished , that was bring together two different worlds. A combination of Skate Kid and streetwear style all under one stylish roof. However I can show you better than I can tell you. Let’s take a look at The Lifted Research Group. ( All looks in the film below are styled and arranged by JMADDD STYLES.)

All looks are styled and arranged by JMADDD STYLES.

Well there it is, we have just reached the end of yet another blog post, and I’m pretty sure after looking at the above presentation you can see how the brand has managed to stand the fashionable test of time and still be going strong with a loyal fan and customer base that has kept it going since it’s start in 1999 , and that’s a long time to last in the streetwear game. I AM JMADDD STYLES , and this has been The staying power of a streetwear brand: LRG : Lifted Research Group. That’s it for now, so until the next time…IM GONE…!!!.
