Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you. I’m back with another one. For today’s vlog/blog we are going to highlight one brand. That brand as you probably have already guessed is BONOBOS menswear. For those of you out there, that may not be too familiar with this brand, this is what I would describe as a quiet luxury brand that gives you that LORO PIANA kind of feel and look with out the outrageous price point. But don’t get it confused, just because the price point is not outrageous does not mean that the quality of the brand has been compromised. BONOBOS gives you Italian made suits and quality casual wear for a moderate and affordable price that won’t cause you to break the bank to own a piece. Also important to note, this is not a fast fashion brand but very much the opposite known as slow fashion or sustainable clothing. Meaning that you are going to pay a little bit more, but this kind of quality will last and stand the test of time, so it’s put in the category of a fashionable investment. Which is the best way to shop for clothing, always quality over quantity and buy items that are basically timeless that will always look good and won’t be here today and gone tomorrow. Basically it’s a brand that does not necessarily follow trends, but follows style and longevity. Today I wanted to show you the versatility of the brand and show you how to style their suits and a few casual pieces. So, with that said, let’s get started….

As I get older and my style game advances, the more I appreciate a good suit and a quality quiet luxury look. If you are not there yet, then you eventually will be, and you will understand exactly what I mean. Something else you will realize, is that a really nice suit will take you a long a way and get you in a lot of doors. THANK ME LATER FOR THAT.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you, I’m back with another one. Welcome to STYLE SESSIONS with myself JMADDD STYLES, today I’m back taking you on another personal fashion styling and shopping session with one return client and one new client. Our return client is W.C. Clark and this will be a continuation of the style journey that he has been on for the past few months to improve on his style and wardrobe.

The priority for Mr.Clark this time is to find him 2 new more updated overcoats that are good for both casual and dressy looks. I was also out to find him a new suit , but not just any suit, a wool and cashmere blend Glen Plaid double breasted suit. Both the suit and the coats could be located in SUITSUPPLY so thats where we are getting started. The problem is, both the overcoats and the suit that I was in search of were very popular items at SUITSUPPLY for the fall/winter 2024/2025 season and basically all the items were said to be sold out. Even the material to do a custom version of the suit was said to be gone for the season, so what was I going to do? The only thing a good personal fashion stylist and image consultant can do, either improvise or do a careful sweep of the store and make sure those items were completely gone. And after a very careful search in the store I found one of the overcoats, the chocolate brown full length wool coat and after looking carefully through the racks I found one Glen Plaid double breasted suit and they both happened to fit W.C. Clark almost perfectly.

But after looking through the store for the last item, an olive green cashmere car coat, that was a no go, so that really took some serious improvising. So what did I do? Stay tuned and you will see how I solved the problem of finding the third item, all I can say is you always a need a good back up plan when it comes to styling and image consulting.

Next that brings us up to our new client, and my new client didn’t need much by the way of styling. He was just looking for a fresh take on a new tuxedo and the same fresh take on some new suits with a few style suggestions, of how to wear them. So for ER.Player thats his name by the way, we start right here…

in the SUITSUPPLY formal wear shop. I ran into the same problem with the tuxedo, it was no longer available in my clients size.

Sorry for the bad IPAD picture, but I wanted you the audience to see the tux that I was in search of. The dilemma was not only was the size not available but ER.Player needed the tuxedo within the next week. So once again what did I do? You guessed it, I improvised with the next best option, which in my opinion was really the best option.

We decided to go with a double breasted, black suit, with a full lapel. Why is that the best option, you maybe asking? Because a tuxedo can only be worn on special occasions, even though it’s a good long term investment, you won’t get as much usage out of it as you would the suit, and the suit can be worn in a variety of ways. Giving you more bang for your buck or a more fashionably effective cost per ware scenario. So how did everything turn out? Lets see…(Press play on the video below).
