For today’s vlog/blog I’m going between the panels of this block buster long awaited movie and pulling out the fashion , to create newly inspired looks based on and inspired by the characters in the movie. It’s been a little while since my last Fashion Between The Panels , so I’m glad that you decided to stop through and take a look and read of this latest installment of this on going series. The inspiration for the looks that I have put together are based on the color scheme and look of each of the main characters in the movie. With that said it’s now time to go between the panels and pull out the fashion.

As I continue on with the third installment of my Sp/Su series , it’s been a little while since I last spoke on the brand PAUL STUART , but the question is can I really speak of helping you to dress up your Sp/Su style without mentioning a brand such as the likes of PAUL STUART ? In short the answer would be no , When it comes to dressing your style up , there are but a few brands that come to mind that could help you to accomplish that in the right way , with the right look and the right amount of visible quality that can be easily seen the moment you put their clothes on. in addition to that these brands will not completely break the bank, they do not come in at a completely cheap price point but are still reasonably affordable , if you do not mind paying for quality to get the right look and fit. Those brands being RALPH LAUREN , SUITSUPPLY , and PAUL STUART. Just like I was saying before , it’s been a little while since I last spoke on this brand , so I’m glad you have decided to join me as I speak on and show you just how this brand is one of my personal favorites to help you accomplish the goal of improving and dressing up your style. The PAUL STUART brand is one of those brands that is always consistent auto how it looks , they never make the mistake of trying to reinvent the fashionable wheel , instead they stick to their true esthetic , causing them to maintain their core audience all the while gaining new fans of the brand along the way.

Dressing Up Your Sp/Su Style: Pt.2: Personal Fashion Styling and shopping with: JMADDD STYLES.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the second installment of my Sp/Su style series , hopefully you have had the chance to take a look at part one, If not , go take a look and meet me back here. For the rest of you out there that have seen it , Then you know I kicked the series off with the idea of helping you to Step up or better yet dress up your Sp/Su style utilizing looks from SUITSUPPLY. For part two of this series I’m taking you back to SUITSUPPLY as I work with my latest client on helping him (Logan ) to step up his style game and show him how to dress up his Sp/Su style. So come with me for a little fashion styling and shopping as I help my latest client begin his journey into both enhancing his style and personal wardrobe.

My latest client (Logan) had already expressed his interest in stepping up his style game , but in order to do that it’s always good to know how your client is thinking. So the catalyst of todays vlog/blog is the look above , this look from part one of this series really caught his attention and this is where he wanted to get started basically re-creating this look. So the first and most important task that I had to do was making sure that I could locate this exact suit in SUITSUPPLY and go from there.

This is only the beginning of Logans style journey, from here he only go up , the most important part is that he took this first step and now it will be exciting to see where he takes it from here. Now here are a few more important details , how I took the suit and styled it.

For This first styling session I didn’t go to complicated with the accessories , but still very on trend and stylish. I went with two spread collar dress shirts that both could be worn with or without a tie and to complete the look , a pink or white pocket square to for variety. 50 YRS. of HIP-HOP FASHION & STYLE: Pt. 3: PNB NATION & SOHK.

50 YRS. of HIP-HOP FASHION & STYLE: Pt.3: PNB NATION & SOHK.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the third installment of this series , but today I’m not just speaking on one legendary streetwear brand but two. PNB NATION and SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS , both of these brands gained major notoriety in the early 90’s and are both in my fashionable opinion the true essence of what a streetwear brand would look like. I personally feel like I saw both of these brands take off thanks to the fact that I was at the MAGIC FASHION CONVENTIONS in Vegas where they would show off their wears to various buyers. both brands were a major inspiration and influence to me because each time I saw them it just caused me to aspire to make my personal streetwear brand at the time better and better to feel like I could some day one day compete with them in the same venue. Both of these brands seemed to progress at a rapid pace each year when they were showing at the fashion convention and I was there to see it happen. As I was saying in the previous installments of this series not only has Hip-Hop reached a major milestone of a 50th anniversary , but all the style and fashion that came along with it. As I was saying before the late 80’s into the 90’s saw an explosion of brands and designers that would make clothing and fashion that seemed like something that was relatable and obtainable. Each time you saw one of these brands explode on the scene it literally made you feel like , it was possible for you to create a brand also and many did just that , not all were successful but those that were left a true impression on the industry and would be remembered for many years to come. Even if they didn’t all survive but at least had a really good successful run. Which is what both PNB NATION & SOHK were both able to accomplish in a sea of streetwear brands on the come up.

50 YRS of HIP-HOP FASHION & STYLE: Pt.:2:KARL KANI.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you, I’m back with another one. As I was saying in part one of this series, Hip-Hop has reached a major milestone this year , reaching its 50th anniversary. But it’s not only the art form of Hip-Hop that has reached its 50th anniversary but all the fashion and lifestyle that came along with it. The style and attitude that is Hip-Hop has also reached the same milestone. With that said, at the beginning of what is called the Golden Era of Hip-Hop from the late 80’s going into the early 90’s we saw the emergence of a different kind of designer , a designer that came with the power of relatability that made the brand they were designing relatable as well. In this case I’m talking KARL KANI , From the very moment that you first saw KARL KANI , You instantly thought or at least I know that I thought , that could very well be me or it could very well be you. He made fashion become something that you actually do or be apart of it no longer seemed untouchable or unattainable, in turn breeding a whole new crop of designers that gave you a whole new form of fashion that came to be known as streetwear.

I remember the first time I ever saw this vest that kind of started it all, for the KARL KANI brand in my fashionable opinion being worn on YO’ MTV RAPS , I didn’t know what it was or who made it , but I knew it was something that I wanted to have , not even being sure of what the KANI signature on the side even meant. Or even these adds that ran in magazines like VIBE , RIGHT ON , or THE SOURCE ,

not to tell you my age or anything. But if you fast forward from then up to now , the brand is still here , making it’s mark and maintaining it’s spot in streetwear , keeping its true esthetic only difference it’s graduated to a more high end look with richer looking materials elevating the brand and the look of the brand to a more street luxury look as opposed to being stuck in the look of what would be streetwear.

So in a nutshell the KARL KANI brand after all these years is still out there making noise having its presence felt, solidifying its position in fashion and streetwear.
