Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I’m back with another one. It’s about that time of year again, when the seasons change and so does your personal style. It’s when you change from light weight cool fabrics and colors to heavier fabrics and warm colors, with more fashionable options. You can layer more, with a cool leather jacket or a cashmere coat. You have more options when it comes to the types of pants to wear and tops. You can wear a wool and cashmere suit that is so warm that you don’t have to wear a coat with it, depending on the quality of the suit. There is the option to wear a sweater of different types, or throw on a hoody for those dress down days, or maybe even a good track suit for that vintage throw back street wear look. Some days there is nothing better than a good track suit to really show a range of effortless style, and of course as the seasons change, you have a variety of different styles of boots that you can wear to elevate almost any look and take your style to another level. As much as I enjoy the summer season, there is nothing like fall and winter fashion. So with that said, welcome to my annual September issue, where I’m showing you how to elevate your style using different textiles , warms colors, and how to utilize the art of dressing up and throwing on a nice suit. Because let’s face it, sometimes you have to step up your style game, and if you are not sure how, that’s what I’m here for.

That brand as you probably have already guessed is BONOBOS menswear. For those of you out there, that may not be too familiar with this brand, this is what I would describe as a quiet luxury brand that gives you that LORO PIANA kind of feel and look with out the outrageous price point. But don’t get it confused, just because the price point is not outrageous does not mean that the quality of the brand has been compromised. BONOBOS gives you Italian made suits and quality casual wear for a moderate and affordable price that won’t cause you to break the bank to own a piece. Also important to note, this is not a fast fashion brand but very much the opposite known as slow fashion or sustainable clothing. Meaning that you are going to pay a little bit more, but this kind of quality will last and stand the test of time, so it’s put in the category of a fashionable investment. Which is the best way to shop for clothing, always quality over quantity and buy items that are basically timeless that will always look good and won’t be here today and gone tomorrow. Basically it’s a brand that does not necessarily follow trends, but follows style and longevity. Today I wanted to show you the versatility of the brand and show you how to style their suits and a few casual pieces. So, with that said, let’s get started….

As I get older and my style game advances, the more I appreciate a good suit and a quality quiet luxury look. Many often have trouble distinguishing just exactly what dressy casual means, the question often rises…what is meant by dressy casual style? Or what do I put on ? When the invite says to come dressy casual. Well today I’m not just telling you how to capture a dressy casual look , I’m actually going to show you how to put together dressy casual looks. But when it comes to being dressy casual, just keep in mind that it’s pretty much almost the same thing as business casual except dressy casual has more options and the look is a little less rigid with more room for style expression. Of course today both business casual and dressy casual can take on different meanings depending on where you work , or who sent the invite or the venue that you are going to be at. Either way, if this topic confuses and sends you into a fashion/style tailspin , you are in the right place and by the end of today’s vlog/blog you will definitely know how to capture dressy casual style.
