Fashion between the panels: Peanuts…

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to welcome you to my latest blog post. This latest blog post is another installment of a segment that I started a little while ago , known as Fashion between the panels. For this latest edition of Fashion between the panels im going to delve into the world of Charles M. Schultz and The Peanuts Gang. So welcome to Fashion between the panels: Peanuts , I am going to use this classic cartoon and comic strip and come up with some new fashionable looks inspired by the various classic characters that we have all grown to know over the years. Starting with Lucy.

Lucy was always the outspoken know it all of the gang , and always appeared to give Charlie Brown and her brother Linus a hard time , but it always made for some very hilarious situations.

Even though sometimes Lucy came across loud and bossy , her style would still be defined as girly and ladylike and at the same time on the side of being oldschool classy. So to capture a look like this it reminded me of something that Carolina Herrera would design right now , but the real eye grabbing part of the look is the black and white spat boot that actually offsets the blue dress well . As you can see the character has on a pair of shoes that are very similar, to top the look off wanted to go with a classic pearl necklace for the throwback effect and designer sunglasses with a single bracelet.

Next let’s take a look at Franklin , he always seemed to be laid back and cool , even though he was a standout character , he seemed to play the back at the same time. But if you take an even closer look , he’s a bit more stylish than the rest of the kids .

Knowing that , to capture the look of Franklin , the style would have to be truly cool , but a bit more on the dressy side , more of a grown up style . If you take a good look at this picture of Franklin, that’s exactly what you see. So what I did was play up the pinstriped pants he has on , which would be the equivalent of a well tailored trouser. Then if you look at Franklin’s coat , that would put you in the mindset of a classic yet modern trench , then you have to finish it out with wingtip boot, spread collar dress shirt and jewelry accents.

That brings us to Marcie, even though it seemed that her main role was always as Peppermint Patties side kick , she always came across cool in my opinion because ahe could do anything, from sports up to dirt bike racing which is also considered to be a type of sport.

Her always cool calm demeanor, garner’s a streetwear look that plays on green and yellow with some denim. To capture the shirt I went with one of my favorite new streetwear brands , Superdry. Followed up with designer shades and capturing her brown sneaker with a designer sneaker by Todd’s.

Speaking of Peppermint Patty, and Marcie being her sidekick, let’s take a look at her next. Peppermint Patty , always had a really laid back approach to style. Always had on sandals and I mean true thong toe sandals, also at the same she had a touch of tomboy style as well.

The best way to capture this look , is by using a designer sandal and belt by Tori Burch , add in a pair of denim shorts with a green button down shirt and you have just captured the very style essence of the one and only Peppermint Patty.

Then there is the musician of the bunch , Schroeder. Whenever you saw him sit down at the piano you were going to get two things , that famous Peanuts gang song and the famous Peanuts gang dance around the piano.

As for Capturing Schroeder’s style , it’s a summer time easygoing go with the flow kind of look , what really stands out about the look is the fact that the base color is purple , giving this easy look a little more pop because of the mix of colors , blue with purple, finishing the look with a brown designer sneaker and Tom Ford belt .

Then there is Pigpen , much like Franklin , you never herd or saw Pigpen say much , but he was always there and a very memorable character as well especially for his signature cloud of dust and dirt that followed him around.

But if you cleared away all the dirt and grime that Pigpen carried around with him , you then would see a very cool casual style. Capturing the style , I went with a red polo style shirt , a light denim or twill trouser with a designer brown sneaket and sport watch to finish the look.

Aside from being Lucy’s little brother , Linus was always the deep thinking philosopher in the bunch , whom would appear to loose all faculties if to far from his security blanket for too long .

When capturing the Linus style , once again it’s a very cool summer look , consisting of a brown designer track sneaker, his signature striped shirt, white shorts, and to add a little extra to the look finishing it off with a new Tom Ford belt.

Sally was always the young tag along of the crew . She was also Charlie Brown’s little sister , and had a huge crush on Linus , she was a girly girl so to speak. With a unique kind of style

Capturing her style requires maintaining a fashion forward look with an innocence to it. The pink and white saddle shoes do just that. They add just the right balance of style and innocence at the same time. Then to add a little more to the look , just the right amount of jewelry .

The man or kid of the hour , the reason we have the Peanuts cartoons and comic’s, even though he was always referred to as a blockhead , Good old Chuck or Charlie Brown himself has always been the center peice of the Peanuts universe.

As for capturing his style , the shirt he wears is probably one of the most iconic peices of cartoon clothing ever drawn, so you have to start with the shirt to truly capture the look of Charlie Brown. There are a few ways to capture this look , since he is the focal point , im going to give you three.

The first look is a direct replica of the Charlie Brown style , with the shorts and shirt , finishing the look with black Air Max classic sneaker. Then for look two , it’s a similar look but using denim and leather , still keeping the color scheme of classic Charlie Brown. Then for the thirf look it’s an alternate variation giving the look a new streetwear spin by changing the colors to blue and brown , keeping a feel for the Charlie Brown shirt and finishing the look with Timbalands.

I can’t leave it right there though, even though Charlie Brown is the focal point of the Peanuts cartoon , his dog Snoopy is just as iconic of a character and maybe even more popular than the rest of the Peanuts gang , so let’s capture one of Snoopy’s most iconic looks aside from the Joe Cool persona , im talking about Fighter Pilot Snoopy.

Now it’s complete , I even wanted to give a nod to his side kick Woodstock. Well there it is once again we have reached the end of yet another blog post , hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I AM JMADDD STYLES and this has been Fashion between the panels: Peanuts. That’s it for now, so until the next time…IM GONE…!!!.

Rihanna x LVMH = FENTY

Hello out there as always, it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to once again, welcome you to my latest blog post , Rihanna x LVMH = FENTY. In the last few years , it is easy to see that Rihanna has exactly what it takes to start a brand and make it extremely successful. Her track record is impressive to say the least, from her line with Puma , to her new Lingerie line Savage x Fenty and her makeup line Fenty Beauty. Well she is back whith her latest venture , a Fashionable collabo between her and fashion giant LVMH , causing her to make history, being the first Black Woman to pull off such a project. The name of the line is you guessed it FENTY ,

But I don’t want to hit you with to much of a back story , instead I want to jump right into the fashion. So once again im going to put on my Fashion Stylist hat and give you a look at this new line , scheduled for release right now , today. The line is available on ( , and im anticipating it to be much like her other ventures online , to immediately sell out or to be a major backup on line as though you were standing in an actual store. The only thing that might slow that up is the price point that the line comes in at. The line consists of denim , sandals , pumps , jewelry, blazer dresses , raincoats and shirt dresses just to name a few of the items. Also seeing as how it’s a collaboration with LVMH , the price point dosen’t come cheap , the items range in price from the 300.00$ range up to the 1500.00$ range. Most definitely not for the Fashionably Faint of Heart. Now without further ado, let’s get a look at the line , I have styled nine looks consisting of a few of the more standout items in the line at least in my fashionable opinion.

The first two looks that im showing you, are styled using the different blazer dresses in the line , much to my surprise nothing in the line is overly revealing or over the top sexy. Both looks are styled head to toe Fenty , including the bracelets, earrings and sunglasses.

The next two looks consists of the lines shirt dress as well as the denim skirt that is being styled with the casual classic white shirt that put you in in the Carolina Herrera kind of style esthetic, also on both looks im giving you the signature blue sandal from the line.

The next three looks , have been styled using the dark denim that is part of the line , in each look I gave you a style to fit more than one personality also take notice of the leather look trench coat a great staple for the line as it is such a different item in many ways.

The last two looks here , show you the dress pants that are a part of this collection , notice once again the fact that the pants are more on the side of being baggy, putting a different spin on the line itself. So what do you think so far of the new Fenty line ? Are you hear for it ? As always I LET YOU TELL IT. Now that we have reached the end of the line , im going to end this blogpost like so many of the others. That’s it for now , I AM JMADDD STYLES and this has been RIHANNA X LVMH = FENTY. So until the next time….IM GONE…!!!

Enhancing your Spring/Summer style with Ralph Lauren: Spring 2019…

Hello everyone out there as always, it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES and today I am putting my Fashion Stylist hat on and helping you to improve your Spring/Summer style. Fittingly that is the title of this latest blog post , Enhancing your Spring/Summer style with Ralph Lauren: Spring/Summer 2019. Ralph Lauren is one of my own personal favorite brands , when it comes to classic style and tailoring the Ralph Lauren brand is one of the best on the market. Which is why I chose to zero in on this brand to help enhance your Spring/Summer style for both men’s and women’s looks. So with that said , let’s get started with womenswear looks.

When it comes to a designer that has perfected doing womenswear as much as menswear, Ralph Lauren has to be in the top five easily. When it comes to his style of womenswear, he knows how to give you true fashion with class, not disposable fashion , that follows fads or is crossing the line of sexy/trashy , instead his sexy is catered to various age ranges and styles.

for the first womenswear look , I went straight summer on you. This is a look that I’ve been doing for sometime now , where I take swimwear and turn it into wearable fashion for the right event. I call the look The rooftop pool party look , where the swimsuit is the major part of the look , but it’s put together with a heeled sandal , not to high , just right and usually a pair of casual shorts to highlight the sandals and swimsuit. So now you ready for the party if you swim or don’t swim.

The next two looks are giving you Spring/Summer style with denim , now if it’s one thing I have learned over the last year or two is RL does some of the best fitting denim. But I will cover that more in menswear. Here we have a classic pair of boyfriend jeans styled with a tie top blouse style shirt , creating a more casual look for this top. The look is finished off with a denim ankle boot , and jewelry accents. The next look gives you bold yellow denim ,( side bar the only denim that looks hotter on most women than yellow is white) but the yellow denim starts out on the monochromatic side with the yellow RL crewneck short sleeve. To highlight the look I used a RL denim jacket and a mule style sandal topping it all off with a MVMT watch.

The next two looks are signature summertime looks, they are both different versions of the classic Spring/Summer Sundress/Maxi-dress , both are key elements to a Spring/Summer wardrobe. Although they are both two different styles , I wanted to use the same details to style them just to show that the look would still come out differently. In both looks im using a strappy high heeled sandal , designer sunglasses , and watch. The difference is one gold and one silver on the jewelry accents, and one with no necklace. Both creating classic looks that are ready for any occasion.

The next two looks , show you to different styles of casual looks. The first being a classic shorts and tennis sweater look , one again with strappy sandal to dress the look up a little. Notice once again that the shorts are never to short , so as not to be too revealing but but still classy/sexy. Not everyone is made to wear booty shorts with , too bad most don’t know that. Completed the look with dark designer sunglasses and a very noticeable bracelet. The second look shows you how to dress up a light pair of joggers , by adding a strappy sandal once again with another matching classic RL crewneck and classic RL blazer with designer sunglasses to finish the look , for this look the blazer is optional and could be switched out.

For the final look of the womenswear segment of this blog , I wanted to give you a classic menswear inspired look. A classically tailored RL pants suit look done with summer pastels. The two main colors beind blue and yellow in both the blouse and the high heeled pump , the look ends with a small yet dramatic detail , that being the RL pocket square taking the look to another level for womenswear.

Now let’s jump into a little bit of menswear styling to enhance your Spring/Summer style. The first place that we are going to start is…..

dressing your Spring/Summer style up , so for these first two looks I wanted to put together two different ways to dress your style up that would fit two different style personalities. The first look is a true material of summer. Im not usually the biggest fan of Seersucker, but RL does a good job with this material and presenting it as a suit. In this case I took the Seersucker suit to another level with a bold print dress shirt, classic captoe buckle shoe and designer sunglasses to match the shoes. The next look is a way to dress down a suit and still be high on style. Starting with the classic chino or cackey suit. Then styling it with a RL chambray shirt , straw weave fedora and finishing the look with a high top RL canvas sneaker, creating the perfect casual feel to a suit , a real style mashup.

Next let’s go casual, I mentioned a little earlier that by far in my experience RL has some of the best if not the best fitting jeans on the market. Here im styling the classic ripped jeans with a version of the ever classic RL polo shirt , the look is very simple but extremely stylish and fashion forward. Accenting the look with the throwback Nike Air max track sneaker, summertime straw weave fedora and stylish timepiece. The next look once again another casually cool look , styling a second look built around a version of the classic RL polo shirt, this time the look is put together with an RL denim jacket , a new version of the RL chinos, still using the Nike Air max sneaker and the ever important designer sunglasses.

Let’s face it , the Polo style shirt is a mainstay when it comes to RL , in the next three looks im giving you a more leisurely style , showing you how to style RL shorts in the first two looks and in the last pic , I wanted to show you how to wear another style of RL pants also giving you the art of pattern mixing for your Spring/Summer style.

One of the most important items that you can add to your wardrobe not just for Spring/Summer, but for anytime of year is a pair of white jeans , they are always a strong look and can be accented with almost any accessory, in this case , I decided to go with the color of red as the main offset to the white RL jeans, seperating the white and red with a splash of navy and white.

There it is , we have just reached the end of yet another blog post. I hope that you have enjoyed this mini guide to help you get your Spring/Summer style together. I AM JMADDD STYLES and this has been Enhancing your Spring/Summer style with Ralph Lauren: Spring 2019. That’s it for now , so until the next time….IM GONE.

Fashion between the panels: Avengers Endgame Pt 2

Hello out there, as always it’s good to see you , I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to welcome you to the second half of Fashion between the panels: Avengers Endgame Pt 2. For such a big movie , the blog had to be done in two parts. Hopefully you have had the opportunity to to look at pt 1 of this series, if not , then be sure to do so. Pt 1 ended with capturing the fashionable likeness of all the heroes that were snapped back into existence, ending with the return of T’challa The Black Panther and his sister Shuri.

Picking back up , let’s get started with Scott Lang , The Ant-man. A key player in The Endgame, because of his knowledge of The Quantum Realm. Making it possible for this to happen ,

The return of his heroic partner The Wasp. To capture the fashionable likeness of these two and come up with a fashion forward look or looks , was a small challenge cause you want to capture the right feel for the characters to come with two inspired fashion forward looks.

For the Ant-Man inspired look , I went with more of an athletic feel , to capture the fashionable essence or feel of the suit , Puma makes the perfect sweatsuit to capture that look , I capped the look off in one pic with a luxury watch , then in another a classic Tales to Astonish Ant-Man T-shirt and a true version of the Ant-man helmet to complete the look for editorial purposes. Next to capture the look of The Wasp , I went even more highend lux brand Balmain, for the jumpsuit, keeping the true color pattern of The Wasp’s suit , by adding a yellow blazer and yellow lensed sunglasses. For the other look , I added the authentic Wasp helmet once again for editorial purposes.

Leading, next into the return of Sam Wilson, The Falcon. Another key player in The Endgame, as he was also dusted in Infinity War. He and Cap have been rolling thick as theives in The MCU since his first appearance in Captain America/The Winter Soldier. To capture his look , once again, it’s all about the color scheme. I have actually in the past came up with inspired looks from The Falcon ,

The first look was done a few years back, a little more on the luxury casual side , giving you a more dressy casual vibe , being as though the look was based off ths original comic book look of Sam Wilson. Then I decided to come with an even fresher more new approach to a look that would capture the fashionable likeness of The MCU Falcon /Sam Wilson.

The new look is more highend atheletic. Keeping true to the color scheme, went with a sportswear collabo, of Palm Angels/Under Armour, showing you the look with two different sneakers and topping the look off with a luxury watch and designer sunglasses. It dosen’t stop there though, by the end of the movie we see Captain America pass the mantle to Sam Wilson. If The MCU decides to follow that storyline, this would be the new look of The Falcon.

Hopefully, we will get to see this somtime in the near comic future of The MCU , as for the inspired look , I kept true to the red white and blue colorways, the look was also created a few years ago when Marvel comics first rolled the character out to a very positive fan fair. Like I was saying Sam Wilson is a key player.

Now The Winter Soldier, quickly becoming Sam Wilson’s partner in crime , The Winter Soldier made his return right along side The Falcon or Sam Wilson, im more of a fan of this look for The Winter Soldier or Bucky Barnes . So this is the look that I used for the fashionable inspiration to style a look from.

Keeping true to the Black and Silver that The Winter Soldier has become best known for over the years , the look topped off with a custom leather jacket.

Who could forget that famous line in Infinity War delivered by Dr. Strange ( We are in the Endgame now) , or that moment in Endgame where Strange looked at Stark and held up the one finger for the possible outcome that was going to work.

When you think Dr. Strange , you think vibrant red and blue colors, down to the shirt , for this look the shirt is a crucial part of the look , finishing the look with a sleek ankle boot dress shoe , capturing the coolness of Dr. Strange.

Bringing us to the end of the line , Steve Rogers, or Captain America. Even though they are one and the same , they are still separate but with the same ideals . With that said , here is a look inspired of Steve Rogers.

The look still has almost the Captain America color scheme , but it’s a little on the stylishly conservative side which would fit the persona of Steve Rogers or anyone else with the same style.

Next To Iron Man, there was no one with a bigger part to play in the outcome of Endgame. From wielding Thor’s hammer to do battle with Thanos , or hearing him say the ever famous line AVENGERS ASSEMBLE , or returning from the future as Old Man Cap , to pass on his shield to Sam Wilson.

For the look , it’s just a lot less conservative, than the look of Steve Rogers, also to create both looks , had the authentic Captain America shirt to give you the complete idea . In order to show variety , did the shirt with two different pairs of jeans and blazers. Also showed versatility by changing up the shoes.

Just like that , we have reached the end of The Endgame. I AM JMADDD STYLES , and this has been Fashion between the panels : Avengers Endgame Pt. 2 . That’s it for now, so until the next time…IM GONE !!!!

Fashion between the panels: Avengers Endgame…

Hello out there as always it’s good to see you, I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to welcome you to my latest blog post, Fashion between the panels: Avengers Endgame. For those that are new to my website, Fashion between the panels is when I take a comic book or maybe even a movie and show you how to draw fashionable inspiration from the storyline. Previously I have done the Fashion between the panels segment for the Batman/Hush story arc and Frank Miller’s first Wolverine series. Bringing us to my latest Fashion between the panels segment for the epic ending to well over ten years of Marvel movies and the comic books that were the basis for these movies , bringing us to as Dr. Strange said in Infinity War, We are in the Endgame now. The amazing part is , through out all these books and movies I have been using them as the backdrop for some of my best fashionable inspiration to put together new looks and be displayed on social media and most recently on my new site here. So with that im about to take you through some classic looks inspired by these movies and comics and a host of newly styled looks from this latest epic movie. Once again welcome to Fashion between the panels: Avengers Endgame.

We arive at The Endgame from the previous movie Infinity War, which is based on the story arc from this groundbreaking comic series,

in which at the end of the series the one and only Mad Titan Thanos uses The Gauntlet that wields all the Infinity stones to wipe out a percentage of the human population by simply doing this

the now infamous snap. That’s also where the fashionable inspiration for this blog begins at with The Mad Titan Thanos,

the Look inspired by Thanos blends shades of purple and gold inspired from his appearance and armor to create a one of a kind evening ware look , that would gain the attention of any room someone wearing it stepped into .

The gold and purple play very well off each other to create such a bold yet Fashionably elegant look. Bringing us up to the now long awaited Endgame. Where the story picks up post snap and all the remaining Avengers are trying to regroup and figure out a way to go after Thanos. As well as Tony Stark still in space running out of time needing to find a way to get back to earth before running out of air.

Over the years of movies and comicbooks Tony Stark himself has been a great inspiration for style , through out all the movies always noted for wearing Such nice suits as General Ross said at the end of The Hulk.

True enough Tony Stark was most definitely the more style conscious member of the Avengers, as was said in Civil War, “Tony do you have a suit ?” and his classic reply was , ” sure a lovely Tom Ford three peice.”

I created both these looks sometime ago , which shows you the timelessness of good styling , the looks were created using Tony Stark as the inspiration for both looks. With each look , using timeless peices and classic color schemes that stay on trend.

Not to jump too far ahead or too quickly to the end, but Tony Stark will be always one of the most classic and remembered characters of the MCU for many years to come , specially for the way the character went out , well played. But from this in The End Game ,we see the dawning of two new heroes in the MCU from the pages of the comics.

Straight from her own solo movie , to her introduction to what will be The New Avengers , Captain Marvel came through in the clutch to save Tony Stark before meeting his true fate and getting him back to earth.

In a previous blog I showed how the many faces of Captain Marvel, are and have also been a driving force for creatively styled looks as well, specifically highend streetwear looks.

That also use the color ways of the Captain Marvel suit for the inspiration to create these looks , both looks using dark denim against red to create once again a very timeless look , in both looks the belt being the main center peice of the look. But that was no surprise, or shouldn’t have been anyway, that Captain Marvel would be making her entrance to The Avengers. The suprise hero that we saw amongst others in The End Game, was Pepper Potts , in her own armour known in the comics as Rescue.

Bringing all new style inspiration from Between the panels. Creating newly styled looks of red and gold , making gold the accent color to play up against the base color of the looks , being red.

The first look was created some years ago , it still has an on trend cool factor , but the other three looks are my newly styled looks , being a mixture of casual cool and dressy casual style , giving you an even more highend feel and look that you can almost go anywhere in just about any setting and be stylishly good , capturing the fashionable likeness of Pepper Potts or Rescue.

The is by no means new to The Avengers movies or the MCU in general, this first look was styled a few years ago , still a timless casual look using a mashup of style between comicbooks and highend streetwear completely using The Hulk as the inspiration.

Even though The Hulk is not new to the MCU , the new incarnation of the character for the Endgame story arc was new. For Avengers Endgame, we see the introduction of Professor Hulk as seen above which is the combination of both the intelligence of Bruce Banner and the complete strength of The Hulk all in one. The look is a progression from the first look , still inspired by The Hulk but progressively inspired by Professor Hulk. Still a streetwear look but made to look even more highend and give you the feel of Professor Hulk. Whom pulled off the first snap of the movie to reverse the affects of the damage done by Thanos after The Avengers time traveled to obtain The Infinity Stones to make a new Gauntlet and bring back the heroes affected by the first snap.

In the midst of all this , it brings us up to another new hero being introduced to The MCU , that really isn’t so new , Clint otherwise known as Hawkeye took on a new persona after his family disappeared post snap. He took on the new secret identity of Ronin as was seen in the pages of The New Avengers.

From marksmen to ninja assassin and I have to say the new persona was well presented on the big screen.

Also a fantastic character for fashionable inspiration and one of my newest styling creations that was inspired from both the movies and the comics.

To Put together this look I went with both an athletic sportswear look in the color scheme of the character and a more biker inspired look using a leather jacket to resemble the new suit that Clint wears and using different styles of sneakers to fit the individual looks.

Despite the new persona change , Clint and Natasha still had a close relationship when it came to working together. Both The Black Widow and Ronin were sent the through time and space to retrieve the Sole Stone.

Over The years The Black Widow has taken on various looks from her introduction to the MCU in Iron Man two

making her a major style inspiration through the years ,

this was the first look I styled some years back to capture the fashionable likeness of The Black Widow, it was a gritty highend streetwear vibe and look .

More recently I revisited the look of The Black Widow and made the look more elegant, placing more emphasis on the look of a jumpsuit or catsuit to put you in the mind frame of what Natasha wears when on various missions. Giving you the look with two different ankle boot styles and better jewelry accents. I got to say that im very surprised about the direction the Black Widow went , wasn’t expecting the outcome of that scenario.

The role of Thor in the movie suprised me as well , the movie expanded a little more on the role he played in Ragnorok , showing you a more humorous yet human side of the character. My style inspiration for Thor inspired three looks.

Usually I don’t do black on black, as in a black dress shirt with no contrasting color to go with it , but in this case to capture the fashionable likeness of Thor , it just plain works to create a good menswear look . That makes dark denim more on the dressy side and ends the look with dress Gucci boot, in the previous look , you see the whole concept including the red jacket which helps to break up the triple black. By the end of the movie we see Thor join up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to accompany them on their space missions.

After the snap reversal, it was good to see them return as well as an alternate time line Gamora , still joing The Avengers in the ultimate battle scene against Thanos.

I have never worked with the idea of styling looks inspired from Gamora or Peter Quill aka Star Lord , but for this segment of Fashion between the panels, that’s exactly what im going to do , capture the fashionable likeness of both Gamora and Quill .

Gamora , much like Peter Quill, also gives you rockstar motorcycle fashion vibes , once again to capture a look like this and make it fashionable at the same time the key is to use the right leather peices or items that complement leather well for that authentic rockstar/moto fashion feel.

When developing these looks , I wanted to give you three options. Just to show that the look could be done to cater to your personal style. To do this I gave you the look with two different styles of pants and an optional jacket to change up the look slightly,

as can be seen in both pictures adding the jacket can change the dynamic of the whole look.

When it comes to Peter Quill or Star lord , the style is almost the same or is the same as Gamora’s, it is a variation of the same look , basically it is also moto style.

For Star Lord I gave you three variations of the same look , changing out the pants , T-shirt , boots and glasses to give you a true moto style streetwear look. The Endgame brought back all your favorite MCU heroes in edition to The Guardian’s of the Galaxy.

When you saw Peter Parker get dusted at the end of Infinity War, you were only too happy to see him return for the big battle scene in Endgame.

Over the years I have toyed around with various looks that would capture the fashionable likeness of Spider-Man, the most recent being the last look , but each look hasn’t changed much , maybe a slight color scheme change here or there.

Not only did you see the return of Peter Parker , but you also saw the return of a whole host of key MCU power players , starting with the return of the king of Wakanda, T’challa and his family. The two im going to zero in on is The Black Panther and his sister Shuri .

To capture the fashionable likeness of the Black Panther, I put together four different looks , to give a variety of ways to capture the possible feel and look of the character. Two streetwear looks and two dressy casual looks.

For Shuri’s look , I wanted to put you into a more regal mind frame , a fashionably royal kind of feel , with rich colors such as the black on purple color combination. There it is we have just reached the end of Pt 1 of Fashion between the panels: Avengers Endgame. I AM JMADDD STYLES, be sure to lookout for Pt 2 of Fashion between the panels: Avengers Endgame.

Fashion between the panels: Wolverine series 1,1983

Hello out there, as always it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES and this is my latest blog post, Fashion between the panels: Wolverine series 1, 1983 . Incase you are not familiar, the Fashion between the panels series, is when I take a comicbook or comicbook series and draw fashionable inspiration from the characters with in the story. Showing you how to style looks inspired by the story. For this new installment of the series im using the first miniseries that was ever done using Wolverine, it’s such an iconic set of comic books, that each cover carries a fairly high value , it also happens to have been the story arc that the second Wolverine movie was based around , give or take a few changes. Despite the fact that this book or books is old as it is , there is still some major fashionable inspiration to be drawn from between the panels.

The story is a real introduction to Wolverine and the very complex character that he is , both inside and out of the suit that he wears. This infact was the first time you ever saw him without the mask and saw his hair was like the mask. So what about the fashion and capturing looks from between the panels?

To start with, here we get a look at Logan’s signature, outdoors mountain man look so to speak , which would later become the signature look for Old Man Logan also.

Capturing this look is not difficult but the art is in giving it a highend feel. First you start with the vintage style bomber jacket , from there brown or beige jeans then a great pair of boots with thermal top to bring the look home. Now we will be actually revisiting this look a little later again.

once we get to another one of the series iconic covers. In book one of this story we are introduced to almost all the characters that are going to set the tone of the story all of which are great for drawing fashionable inspiration from. By the end of book one we are introduced to Lord Shingen and Mariko whom are the basis for the whole series.

We will revisit both of those characters a little later as well but first here is another inspired look , from Wolverine, the inspiration is within the color scheme of of Wolverine’s suit ,this time , went with a combination of Brown , cream and beige to represent the heroes colors. But by the end of book one we are introduced to the assassin Yukio.

Who the next look will be inspired from , her signature white jumpsuit ironically very fashionable in the 80’s and back instyle right now.

Bringing us to iconic book cover number two , where Yukio is fully introduced to the story. Picking up on her fashionable likeness is a bit of a challenge because you want create a look that has a timeless feel , but still has the same style aesthetic as the character.

For this look I went with a classically tailored wide leg pant in white , and a classic white blouse from Carolina Herrera, to capture the true look of the white jumpsuit that she wears. In the same book we are also intrduced to the assassin’s known as The hand ,

also creating another Wolverine inspired look using his color scheme as the inspiration

For both inspired looks I went this time with more of an active wear look , the Wolverine inspired look this time is from the Dapper Dan for Gucci collection and The Hand inspired look , was pulled together from Nike both the track suit and Lebron sneakers.

As I was saying a little earlier , we would revisit this signature Logan , outdoors mountainous look. The third book in the series gives you a really great depiction of it , and as I was also saying before, the look would later become the signature look of Old Man Logan. I have actually captured and recreated this look several times here is another adaptation of the look done by myself.

In the third book of the series, we see a lot more of Logan’s signature streetwear look , we also get an even better look at Yukio , and another of her signature looks.

That look being dressed in all black, in a jumpsuit or catsuit. To capture this look , I wanted to get as close as possible so for the same affect, I went with once again the tailored dress pant and keyhole top also the mule slip on , truly capturing the look on an upscale level.

Ok so we have reached book four in this classic epic series by the one and only Frank Miller. Here we are once again reacquainted with Shingen who is Logan’s nemesis in this story arc. But take note of the fashion , Shingen is wearing one of my favorite dressy items. What’s that you may ask? The white suit , when worn and styled correctly , always a great statement peice.

When capturing this look or putting together a look such as this, I prefer a more cream color over white , if it’s going to be completely white then it looks better made of linen. To complement the look a buckle half boot in a rustic brown color , finishing the look with a samurai pocket square, staying true to theme , and a bold print spread collar dress shirt.

In book four Logan regroups to go back after Shingen, this time more ready and prepared to face Shingen in one final battle to defend Mariko’s honor from book one.

Here is the Fashion between the panels, another inspired look from Wolverine’s color scheme , a two toned chocolate brown tailored suit look complete with cap toes shoe and Tom Ford dress shirt.

This time when Logan catches up with Shingen, he is better equipped and ready for what he is about to face in his final battle with Shingen.

Notice in true fashionable fashion , Shingen proceeds to battle in his white suit , but as you can see this time Logan is more prepared than Shingen and due to his underestimation, Wolverine comes off victorious, in defending Mariko’s honor.

Also , here is one last look styled and inspired by Wolverine’s color scheme, once again giving you a more dressy approach and appeal , using three shades of brown , showing you the inspiration behind the look. Well there it is , just like that we have come to the end of yet another blog post. I AM JMADDD STYLES , and this has been Fashion between the panels : Wolverine series 1, 1983. That’s it for now , so until the next time….IM GONE !!!

Fashion between the panels : Batman Hush…

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you. Welcome to my latest blog post : Fashion between the panels : Batman/Hush. That’s right for this new blog post , im taking you to Gotham City. Incase you didn’t know , I am as much of a comic head as I am a fashion head and sometimes I infuse the two interest for the ultimate comic/fashion head mashup. I often find fashionable inspiration in the pages of my favorite comicbooks, then creating new looks based on the characters. The latest story arc that has captured my attention, came out a little while ago , and is soon to have a full length cartoon movie. The story in question is Batman Hush.

This epic Batman tale includes some of the most interesting heroes and villains that Batman has to offer ,

all being used to pull off one epic tail and plot in Gotham City , so what I am going to do is create new fashionable looks based around the various characters found in this story , and the first character that we will start with is Robin.

Batman’s assistant and ward, the Robin in this story is a third generation Robin , basically the third Robin in the Batman story arc , in this case that would be Tim Drake.

To capture the look or fashionable likeness of Robin , you want to create a cleverly done streetwear look , playing up the colors of the costume he wears and using that to capture the feel and fashionable flava that Robin would have if he walked past you in the street. The next character that we are going to take a look at from the story is

The Huntress , now once again in creating a fashionable look to capture the likeness and feel of The Huntress , I had to float between a highend look with a sexy street feel appeal.

Working with a color scheme that goes very well together and that will capture the eye , with that being said. The color scheme is black and purple.

Then there was Superman , for this comicbook series Kal-el plays a very pivotal role , infact the book that has him on the cover is one of the more expensive to get your hands on. But how can his fashionable likeness be captured ?

To capture the fashionable likeness of Superman for this story , I went with more of a casual Friday , A more grown up luxury streetwear look , where the look keeps once again and always true to the feel of Superman, with a running theme of the color palette to capture the classic look , keeping it red and blue.

In this story, it really expands on the complicated, love hate then really love again relationship that is Batman and Catwoman , setting the theme for many more great and interesting storylines to come in the near future,

but when it comes to capturing the fashionable likeness of Catwoman, you want to keep the look sleek and trendy , a little monochromatic even.

The best way to do that was by you guessed it , using a catsuit and in this case a leather suit in black with accessories of the same color. I only separated the look with a contrasting color shoe and gloves.

Intro Nightwing , this storyline has every major Batman villain or hero in it that is one of the factors of why this is such a great story and why there is a full length feature film coming , so capturing Nightwing’s fashionable likeness ?

When you look at Nightwing, what comes to mind is the martial arts suit that was worn in the movie Kill Bill or even further back, the classic Bruce Lee martial arts suit.

The best way to capture this look is by taking it back to a classic streetwear look , that has been relaunched and reintroduced for right now , but with a more tailored fit , that would be the Puma track suit.

It gives you the look and feel of the suit that Nightwing currently wears and is most known for.

Poison Ivey , as it is always said no one can resist the power and influence of Poison Ivey and her mind control, this was really shown in this story arc when she gained control over Superman , but what about capturing her fashionable likeness ?

In order to do this you have to make use of floral prints and various shades of green to contrast with the the floral prints, you even want the jewelry accents to highlight the floral prints.

The Joker and Harley Quinn, almost no Batman story arc is complete without these two some how being woven into the plot , and this story did not fall short of The Joker or Harley.

There are so many different ways that Harley has been captured in the comicbooks , but one thing always remains consistent with her and that’s the black and red color scheme she always has.

This particular version of Harley gives you more of a rockstar style , but still has the common theme of black and red which what I used to capture what would be her fashionable likeness.

When it comes to capturing the fashionable likeness of The Joker , it’s all about the details , you have to look closely to realize that if The Joker did exist although crazy , he actually has a sense of fashion.

From his use of purple and green to the suit that he is wearing, and there are so many different ways to capture his look ,

as long as you maintain true to the color scheme , in this case The look is a little more on the side of what I call sneaker casual, where you combine a dressy casual look and finish it with sneakers.

Then for this look , im giving you true full on Joker , a more dressed up feel appeal , that is still keeping within the color theme of The Jokers look.

There are so many favorite characters in this storyline, that are intertwined with the this arc , I guess that’s why it took so many books to finish this Batman saga ,

and just when you think it’s almost over there’s more. When you look at The Riddler, his color schemes are very similar to The Joker , especially when he’s wearing the green suit , and not the onsie you would see yrs ago. Basically capturing his look is also very close to creating The Joker look.

As in the color scheme is pretty much the same as well as the tailored suit,

in this case, to capture the look , I went with a two button single breasted lightweight green suit , with a white waist coat and pastel tie. Most definitely a spring/summer look, and brought the look together with a pastel pocket square, it’s probably one of my favorite looks that I’ve put together.

Then there is the villain that is the basis for this whole story , the one that makes this series of books , such a collector’s item , it’s also his first appearance. The one that I am speaking of is Hush.

Capturing his look would be or is pretty interesting, the look would have to be dressy casual with a mixture of streetwear and a dressier style at the same time.

Probably over the yrs , easily one of Batman’s most formidable opponents and most definitely one of the best storylines worthy of a movie.

For this look once again, I didn’t change it much , I just added a different grade of trench coat to define the look more , capturing the fashionable likeness of Hush.

We have finally reached The Batman , probably through the years one of the greatest superheroes whom just happens to be human has no super powers ,and much like in this story finds a way to come out on top , as for capturing his fashionable likeness, well lets see.

When it comes to creating a fashionable likeness for Batman, you can go one of two ways , you can capture a streetwear look as above that gives you the look and feel of The Dark knight, or you can capture a look that fits his disguise Bruce Wayne.

This look would be a more distinguished, dressier look that would seperate the two personalities,

From the crime fighter to the billionaire socialite. Basically giving you versatility of style, as can be seen in the formal wear look , that I put together above. Giving you both The Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne.

Just like that , we have reached the end of another blog post. This has been Fashion between the panels, and I AM JMADDD STYLES. That’s it for now, so until the next time… IM GONE…!!!
