NEW & FASHIONABLY NOTEWORTHY COLLABORATIONS:2024/2025:BATMAN x KITH.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you, I’m back with another one. Welcome to my first vlog/blog of 2025, and to kick things off, I’m returning back to my New & Fashionably Noteworthy Collaborations series. And the all new collaboration that I’m speaking of actually dropped late in or towards the end of 2024 but carries over into 2025. The all new collaboration that I’m speaking of is BATMAN x KITH, KITH is often known to have some of the best fashionable collaborations next to SUPREME, at least in my fashionable opinion that’s the way I see it. Well this all new comic book fashion collection does not disappoint, KITH has found a way to incorporate just about all the BATMAN movies along with the comic book art and have them strategically placed into the fashion and and all of the novelty items. Such as the skate decks, key chains , chairs, posters, rugs, comic art prints and toys. It’s basically a well rounded capsule collection that is sure to make all the fashionable streetwear enthusiasts, happy as well as comic heads alike. That’s if you are fortunate enough to have been able to obtain even so much as of a small piece of this collection. Because surely as you are reading this, or by the time that you finally get around to reading this, the collection is pretty much sold out. From all the clothing down to the key chains, and I promise you the after market sales of this collection is going to be twice as expensive. But then that is the usual components of a limited release capsule collection that everyone wants a piece of. But if you haven’t seen it yet, I’m going to show you all the pieces from the collection that stood out the most to me, and show you how to style them, just incase you manage to get your hands on a small part of the BATMAN x KITH collaboration.

THE STAYING POWER OF A STREETWEAR BRAND: PAPER PLANES.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you…I’m back with another one. Today I am back in my streetwear bag , if you are the least bit familiar with this vlog/blog or my YouTube channel , then you know that streetwear holds a special place in my fashionable rolodex. If you are not to familiar then you may be asking , why is that ? Well streetwear is where I got my intro into the world of fashion , from watching brands like KARL KANI or FUBU and how they got their start all the way up to being inspired to start my own brand many years ago as I saw those guys growing and taking over in the streetwear space or genre. The MAGIC Market Place was an amazing thing to see at that time as all those brands would converge on Vegas and so to speak compete side by side with one another for various buyers business. Being that I saw all of this happening and through my hat into the streetwear ring as well , I can appreciate how difficult it is and can be to maintain a streetwear brand. So it is always interesting to see how those various brands and even brands of today that have been built off the backs of those original streetwear brands have and do to maintain longevity past being just a flash in the fashionable pan and there is no other genre of fashion that is harder to keep alive and relevant than a streetwear brand. But there are those that have managed to do this be it past or present , and the brand that we are taking a look at today is The PAPER PLANES brand. This is not the first time that I have spoke on this fairly new brand that falls under The Roc Nation umbrella owned and co-owned by JAY-Z and Emory jones , and that is why it fits perfectly into my STAYING POWER OF A STREETWEAR BRAND segment. This brand was introduced somewhere around 2018 or so and continues to grow and progress to the point of going from mostly on line sales to now it’s first brick and mortar location in lower Manhattan , basically proving that slow and steady growth is better in most cases than over saturation that can cause any brand to fade faster than it should. In short, PAPER PLANES falls under the IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW category , and I have to say that I’m a major fan of this new age streetwear brand. So with that said lets have a look at what you can expect from PAPER PLANES for this current fall/winter season.

Fashion Between The Panels: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE : DEAD RECKONING: PART ONE

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. The fall fashion season is upon us…(I know , crazy that it’s here already)…but I’m going to kick it off with an all new Fashion Between The Panels. If you are not too familiar , my fashion between the panels series is when I go between the panels of your favorite movie classic , music video , or even comic books and pull out the fashion to create newly inspired looks based on the characters in the movie or comic book or the artist in the music video. Today I’m taking you between the panels of the latest Mission Impossible movie , which if you have not seen it yet , you should definitely go check that out. However in this movie if you are a detail oriented person , then you will notice that everyone in this film (The Main Characters) have been well styled and put together from an image standpoint. That’s always important to the audience even if they don’t know it…why you may ask? Well often enough in movies like this or James Bond , the more noticeable the image of the main characters are , the more memorable the movie and the characters in the movie are. So the cooler the fashion then more than likely the more you pay attention to the movie and each individual character. From the moment that this movie started I was instantly inspired to do a Fashion Between The Panels , because from off the break the first thing that I saw was how well all the major players in the movie were put together from an image standpoint , but then The MISSION IMPOSSIBLE MOVIES are always a source of good fashionable inspiration , if you go to my YouTube channel or go back to some of my older vlog/blogs , you will see how this is the third time that I have done this with an M.I.P Movie , because the style is always impeccable.

As I often say , fashionable inspiration is everywhere , even in the pages of your favorite comic book or between the panels of your favorite movie or music video.
