Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Well it’s about that time of year , when the seasons change and your style changes with it , or at least it should. As much as I enjoy the summer time , there is nothing like that Good Fall Fashion. With that said I would like to welcome you too volume 1 of THE JMADDD STYLES SEPT.ISSUE : 2024 , To kick things off I’m taking you with me for a personal fashion styling and shopping session with a new client. Just to give you a little more detail , my new clients name is W.C.CLARK and he’s in the I.T. field and he is looking to step up up his style game for both work and outside of work. So basically he wanted to improve on his street casual and dressy casual style , but also he wanted to improve or update his suits and his more dressy style. He came to me at the perfect time of year , when all the new looks hit retail so he can really start fresh with what’s current for the upcoming season. But the important thing to keep in mind is that when updating a persons look or style it is good to start with the basics that can go along way and that are timeless so the best cost per ware can be gotten out of the new wardrobe updates and items. So lets get started with improving and updating W.C.CLARK’s suit game.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. For the seventh installment of my spring / summer series , I’m speaking on and showing you how to wear a brand from days gone by. It’s one of those brands that when it hit in the 90’s it was at the top of the sportswear / streetwear / active wear fashionable food chain. And it’s back now stronger than ever , and if you are familiar with this vlog / blog and the type of style that resonates with me , then you know I love to see the return of a brand from yesteryear that has the ability to still come off strong to a generation that is not familiar with it. The brand that I’m speaking of today , incase you have not figured it out yet , is SERGIO TACCHINI. When this brand hit in the early 90’s it was virtually unmatched when it came to style and quality and had a price tag to match , at least it seemed really expensive back then anyway. The only brand that could rival it back then was FILA, which has also made a fairly succesful return , both brands had the same aesthetic and I was a major fan of both. But you best believe on their return I was at the front of the retail line to get my hands on a piece of their clothing especially the velour sweatsuits. Basically though brands like this are what I consider to be generationally fashionable , meaning that the look of these brands means more to the generation that saw them when they first hit years ago as oppose the generation that knows very little about them and does not coordinate fashion the same way. I call the looks from the brands , The MONEY MAKIN MITCH LOOK. For those that are not familiar , that’s a reference to the movie PAID IN FULL , so if  YKYK. But if you don’t know , then go take a look at the movie and then get back to me , you will definitely know exactly what I’m talking about. The greatest thing about the return of these brands is they didn’t try to reinvent what made them ICONIC in the first place , they came back with the same style and look , maybe just a slightly more modern cut. Either way you look at it , I’m just glad to see the return of this brand. Now let me show you why you should be glad also.

Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the fourth installment of my SP/SU series, Today I’m taking you back on an another personal fashion styling and shopping journey with myself and two new clients. The two new clients are pictured above, Joseph Herrera and R.J. , each having different styling needs. To give you a little context Joseph Herrera (top picture ) had already had three suits that he had made, what he was looking for was a fresh styling perspective for the three suits that he already had ready to be worn.

So the mission was to coordinate each suit , in a unique way. The first thing that I always like to before I start actually styling a client , is come up with several concepts for you to look at and let me know what you think. from there then I then have a general idea of where it is that I’m going to shop the looks with you and put the looks together. Both clients were the kind of clients that any stylist loves to have , ready and willing to take suggestions , try something new and step out of their comfort zones. Making it much easier to come up with looks that will work not only in concept but also in reality. My next new client R.J. was very different from Joseph , he was starting from scratch , meaning that he didn’t have a known style direction that he wanted to be in. But as I was saying before he came with an open mind and a willingness to learn and be styled , making my job ten times easier , and we came up with a fantastic look for the upcoming event that he is going to be attending. But first the concept of what it is that he was going to look like and we took it from there.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the second installment of my spring/summer series, today I’m going to speak on a fairly new brand that really caught my when it appeared in my I.G. feed. What brand am I speaking of ? You maybe asking , that brand would be EASTSIDE GOLF. The reason that it caught my eye so much at first glance was that it reminded of a brand that came out some years ago in the 90’s that had the same feel by the name of PIVOT GOLF. But the brand didn’t stay around to very long , fast forward to right now, the same appeal that PIVOT had is the same appeal that EASTSIDE GOLF has right now. That appeal is a brand that is really intended to be on the golf course , but looks equally as good being worn as a brand on the streets. So it’s a brand that has a duel purpose and not only that , but it is a black owned brand that has an excellent niche market that is not a space that a lot of brands occupy. Then combine that with the fact that it is moderately priced so it won’t break the bank and high on style which is very important , when it comes to the longevity of a good brand. Just to give a quick aerial view of the price points of this line , this line ranges in price from 50.00$ to upwards of 230.00$ , so basically as I was saying before, you are getting high style for reasonable prices. With that said let’s have a look at EASTSIDE GOLF.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Today I am kicking off my SP/SU series , and for the first installment I wanted to jump into the satorialist side of things. , by speaking on and introducing you to a brand that is truly on the luxury side when it comes to men’s accessories , they also do women’s wear as well but for today’s vlog/blog we are going to zero in on men’s wear or accessories. Now I have to confess I’m a little late to the party , so to speak , when it comes to the brand CHARVET, as this is one of those brands that has been around for ages and still maintains to be relevant down to this day. I saw someone speak on this brand on TikTok and it really peaked my interest , because what he was saying was that there five things every stylish man should own. One of those five things being a pocket square from CHARVET , reason being is that they exemplify what high-end quality is and basically you wouldn’t find a better pocket square. Even though that opinion on the pocket square is truly subjective , it still interested me to look further into the brand and what it is they do aside from really nice pocket squares. Well as I looked a little further into the CHARVET brand I found that they are even more known for their custom dress shirts , arguably the best custom dress shirt in the game , once again subjective. But to get a custom made CHARVET dress shirt , you have to travel to Paris to the CHARVET showroom store in order to get the full bespoke experience. However if you are not planning to do this there are a few retailers that do carry the CHARVET line of dress shirts , suede slippers , ties , pocket squares and their robes. I will link a few of those for you at the end of this vlog / blog , but let me give you a fair warning , this is a true lux brand and it is priced as so. Owning a piece from the CHARVET brand falls under what I call the fashionable investment category , just to give you a little bit more context on that , the shirts can run you upwards of ( $675.00 ) and the ties can take you upwards of ( $295.00 ) a brand that is made for the true satorialist. The reason that I wanted to cover this brand to kick off my SP/SU series is because I believe that dressing up is truly a lost art and so many do not know how to wear or style a suit , suit separates , or even how to wear a tie or pocket square. In my fashionable opinion not only is it crucial to know some of the best brands to help you to dress up your style , but it’s equally as important to just plain know how to dress up and dress up correctly. So now lets have a look at how to wear and style CHARVET.
