The Revival of a Street Luxury Brand: Sean John.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I’m back with another one , and this time im speaking on a brand that made a major impact on the fashion world from the time it was introduced. Welcome to The Revival of a Street Luxury Brand: Sean John. From day one when I first saw Sean John introduced in Vegas at The Magic Show Fashion Convention, I was a major fan. But what made this brand such a success was the image of the lifestyle being sold with it, and no one was better at selling you a luxury lifestyle ,a complete image than it’s owner Sean Puffy Combs. From music to music videos all the way up to fashion , he knew how to sell you a complete lifestyle and image. The same way he sold you the image of his artist on Bad Boy Record’s , is basically the same formula he would later use to sell you the idea of a street luxury brand , and it worked. It worked so well that the brand amassed millions in a short period of time and gained the attention of the CFDA, naming Sean Puffy Combs menswear designer of the year in 2004. From there the brand began to branch out into womenswear , hit the runways of New York Fashion Week and the brand was licensed to make a fragrance , eyewear , shoes and jumped into the men’s suiting and dress clothing lane successfully. But like any brand that comes out swinging, there comes a level off period , where the brand looses popularity. In this case when Sean Combs sold off a majority stake in the company to Global Brands Group. The problem with making a move like that , the company that takes over dose not have the same vision or passion for the brand, so the brand begins to loose it’s way. But that’s about to turn itself around, or so it possibly seems.

With Combs buying the company back out of bankruptcy for 7.5 million$ , the question is does Sean Puffy Combs still have what it takes to revive and breath new life into this once power house street luxury brand ? Well that’s what we will have to watch out for and see. Hopefully you watched the video all the way through for the extra added bonus content.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you. IM BACK WITH ANOTHER ONE , for those that are not to familiar with myself , I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to take this time out to welcome you to my latest blog post. The JMADDD STYLES Fall Fashion Spectacular: Pt 3: SUITSUPPLY , When it comes to your personal style or the improvement of your personal style, it’s equally as important to know how to dress your style up as it is to dress it down, in fact it may be more important because it takes more know how and effort. I have spoken on Suitsupply previously and despite of what some have said out there, it remains to be one of my favorite menswear retailers to go to and spend money with. The brand has perfected the off the rack suit to the point where it’s the closest thing to a bespoke suit, giving you that tailored feel and great quality to go with it. Not to mention the fact that each time I have visited one of their showrooms , the customer service has been just as good as the clothing. For this installment of The Fall Fashion Spectacular , I have put together well over 13 looks from the Suitsupply Fall 2021 collection. The designer’s SPOTLIGHT: HALSTON.

The Designer’s Spotlight: HALSTON.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to take this time out to welcome you to my latest blog post, The Designer’s Spotlight: HALSTON. IM taking you back with this one , I’m giving you STUDIO 54 vibes with this one. I decided for this latest blog post , I wanted to shed a little light on a designer that made a major splash in the industry from the 70’s STUDIO 54 Disco era, but continued to make major noise throughout the 80’s , and the early 90’s when he passed away. Halston was known as one of the GREAT AMERICAN DESIGNERS of the time , he created a look that was synonymous with his name, and even though he passed away , his clothing today still carries on the look that made the brand as iconic then and still is today , especially among those that are luxury fashion enthusiasts today. My latest fashionable production that you are about to have a look at below , will show you the latest from HALSTON , as well as I’m showing you how to style pieces from the current collection. So without further ado, here it is The Designer’s Spotlight: HALSTON…

As you can see from the video , the HALSTON brand is still very much around and respected among those that are in the know when it comes to fashion and brands from the past. If you look closely you will notice that the look of the brand really hasn’t changed much from the 70’s era when it first caught fire during that disco STUDIO 54 era. The only thing that may have changed a little is the silhouette of the clothing to give it a more modern cut , but aside from that, the brand looks almost exactly like what made it successful in the first place.

So far as luxury brands go , the price point is not to bad, ranging from the low 100’s to upwards of the low 700’s, not to bad by comparison of most high end luxury brands , it’s fairly affordable to own a piece of this iconic brand. Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES , and this is Fashion Between The Panels : The Women of Marvel Pt 4. If you are familiar with this blog , then you know that I’m not only a fashion head , but I’m also a comic head at the same time. Since that is the case , sometimes those two creative interests cross paths and make for a fashionably inspired mashup. In this case the fourth installment of The Women of Marvel, for this on going blog title, each time I take three or four different comic book heroines and show you how fashionable inspiration can be gained from how the character looks in her signature comic appearance. For the fourth edition of this blog post I’m you to enhance your style by being inspired from four new comic book heroes. Those being , MS. MARVEL , ELEKTRA , and THOR ( Jane Foster ).
