Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Well it’s about that time of year , when the seasons change and your style changes with it , or at least it should. As much as I enjoy the summer time , there is nothing like that Good Fall Fashion. With that said I would like to welcome you too volume 1 of THE JMADDD STYLES SEPT.ISSUE : 2024 , To kick things off I’m taking you with me for a personal fashion styling and shopping session with a new client. Just to give you a little more detail , my new clients name is W.C.CLARK and he’s in the I.T. field and he is looking to step up up his style game for both work and outside of work. So basically he wanted to improve on his street casual and dressy casual style , but also he wanted to improve or update his suits and his more dressy style. He came to me at the perfect time of year , when all the new looks hit retail so he can really start fresh with what’s current for the upcoming season. But the important thing to keep in mind is that when updating a persons look or style it is good to start with the basics that can go along way and that are timeless so the best cost per ware can be gotten out of the new wardrobe updates and items. So lets get started with improving and updating W.C.CLARK’s suit game.

NEW YORK CITY NIGHTS & DAYS: NYFW HIGHLIGHTS 2024.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you, I’m back with another one. Well it’s about that time of year or as I often call it , the fashionable time of year. It’s when all the fashionable people gather across the globe from Paris to New York , to see what’s new for the upcoming season or who is next to throw their hat in the ring and possibly become the next big thing in fashion. Everyone wants to see what the new hot color or the latest trends will be or not be. Often enough if you listen carefully and pay attention to what many say, it’s believed that NYFW in itself has lost some of it’s luster and popularity or the purpose of what it is supposed to be. But thats really one of those subjective opinions and even answers , and I say that because if you have never been in the past especially during the Bryant Park years then you have nothing to compare it to. However from my own personal perspective , I came in towards the end of the Bryant Park years , and even if you were not privy to actually attend some of the shows , just to be in the city during that time getting to see some of the smaller shows was still an amazing experience. I will say though even if it’s not the same as it once was , it’s still a really nice experience to have and see if you are or wish to be apart of the fashion industry in one way or another. This year I didn’t spend a long time in the city so it was kind of a whirlwind experience so to speak. I attended a few shows for the up and coming in the fashion game courtesy of THE GLOBAL FASHION COLLECTIVE, this was the first time that I was able to attend their presentation , but I have to say that I was impressed with their collection of up and coming designer shows , and would definitely go back and see those again. Aside from that having the chance to hit a few retailers and see what’s new as well as having the chance to get a few new pick ups is always a win, win situation. Overall has NYFW lost some of its luster? Perhaps , but as always it was a really good and enjoyable experience.
