Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. If you really pay attention to this vlog/blog and my YouTube , then you know I like to find different watch brands that give you a quality look and luxury feel without having to break the bank. You know that watch that can be both dressed up and dressed down at the same time, It looks great with a suit and a Polo shirt and jeans alike. Because lets face it , despite what you may see on social media or music videos or magazines , most of us ABSOLUTELY CANNOT afford a Patek Philippe or Ademars Piguet or in some cases a Rolex although some models maybe attainable. So it’s great to see brands that can give you that look and feel without having to sell vital organs to get it. But when I do find those brands I like to put you up on game and let you know all about those brands and how they measure up. Well a little over two or three weeks ago I came upon a brand that truly fits the bill when it comes to a watch that gives you a full on high end luxury look for a very affordable price. That brand being PASCAL , the PASCAL watch gives you exactly what you are looking for when it comes to high end style , that takes your look and style game to the next level. There are two things to take note of with these watches , one they use lab grown diamonds , which automatically puts them somewhat in a class by them selves. But then also take note of the size of the watch , they don’t make their watches big or bulky , they are made with a more slender or slimmer style or size which makes the PASCAL watch perfect to wear with a suit and under a dress shirt. Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the sixth installment of my spring / summer style series . For today I am going to revisit a subject that I touched on for the fall winter season. That subject being QUIET LUXURY STYLE and how to capture it , the fashionable topic of quiet luxury style has become very popular over the last few years or so. Probably because of the over saturation of logo happy fashion influencers that want or need you to know what they are wearing to make it look like they are living a highly desirable and luxurious life style , that they are not necessarily living. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with having some pieces that have heavy logo notoriety , I mean I can’t sit here and pretend that I don’t have a few logo heavy items in my wardrobe from shoes to clothing. But it’s always good to have variety and the ability to flip your style , in turn capturing quiet luxury style. The term quiet luxury is defined as a lifestyle or style that emphasizes understated elegance and refined consumption , without overt displays of wealth. Basically wearing quality pieces that still stand out because of the way you have them styled or the look and quality of the items is so noticeably good that it does not require a logo to be all over it to let you know that what you have on is without a doubt top notch stylish or of extreme good quality. And believe it or not The one that walks in the room wearing the quiet luxury aesthetic will still garner the same attention and notability as the person that has on loud logo heavy looks , it’s all basically in how it’s presented . Also important to note the person wearing the quiet luxury aesthetic may well have on the same brands as the person in the room with all the logo’s , it’s just being displayed in a more understated yet stylish way. Also don’t make the mistake of believing that you have to break the bank to capture the quiet luxury look , the look can be captured on almost any level and price point. Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the fourth installment of my SP/SU series, Today I’m taking you back on an another personal fashion styling and shopping journey with myself and two new clients. The two new clients are pictured above, Joseph Herrera and R.J. , each having different styling needs. To give you a little context Joseph Herrera (top picture ) had already had three suits that he had made, what he was looking for was a fresh styling perspective for the three suits that he already had ready to be worn.

So the mission was to coordinate each suit , in a unique way. The first thing that I always like to before I start actually styling a client , is come up with several concepts for you to look at and let me know what you think. from there then I then have a general idea of where it is that I’m going to shop the looks with you and put the looks together. Both clients were the kind of clients that any stylist loves to have , ready and willing to take suggestions , try something new and step out of their comfort zones. Making it much easier to come up with looks that will work not only in concept but also in reality. My next new client R.J. was very different from Joseph , he was starting from scratch , meaning that he didn’t have a known style direction that he wanted to be in. But as I was saying before he came with an open mind and a willingness to learn and be styled , making my job ten times easier , and we came up with a fantastic look for the upcoming event that he is going to be attending. But first the concept of what it is that he was going to look like and we took it from there.

DRESSING UP YOUR SP/SU STYLE 2024: SUITSUPPLY.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the third installment of my Spring / Summer series , where I’m once agin speaking on the latest and greatest from one of personal favorite retail establishments. That being SUITSUPPLY , if you are at all familiar with this vlog / blog then you know that each spring and summer season or fall and winter season I do a segment on SUITSUPPLY. Why is that ? You maybe asking , well this is most definitely one of those IF YOU KNOW , YOU KNOW kind of scenario’s . Shopping at SUITSUPPLY is truly a men’s wear experience , the customer service is topnotch and the shopping experience is always just that an experience and you always leave out , with no doubt in your mind that you are going to return again. When it comes to me styling clients it’s one of the first places that I take a look at to get your the look you need to step your style game up. Which is really important in my fashionable opinion , because if you can put on a streetwear fit with the greatest of ease , then you should equally be able to put on a casual or dressy casual or just plain dressy look just as easy. After all if you don’t know by now a well tailored suit can get you in some doors that a streetwear look may not be able to get you in or in as easily. Next it’s also important in my fashionable opinion to help you to learn how to dress your style up , and I say that because in this day and time stepping up your style game or just plain knowing how to dress correctly for the right occasion is pretty much always a lost art , and thats on the part of both men and women. I really came to that conclusion , about two weeks ago or so and I was out and about at an event or concert , now depending on the concert you do not necessarily have to be dressed up. But when the show is at a symphony hall or opera house , then as a whole your fit should say , that is where you at , and some years ago that would have been a complete no brainer. However things have changed and the majority just doesn’t clean up or know how to clean up for the right occasion and at a certain age in your life that is something that you should just know how to do , or be willing to learn how to do. If not then that is what people like me are for. With that said it’s once again time for me to help you to dress up your SP/SU Style.

DRESSING UP YOUR SPRING / SUMMER STYLE: 2024 : MEN’S ACCESSORIES: CHARVET.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Today I am kicking off my SP/SU series , and for the first installment I wanted to jump into the satorialist side of things. , by speaking on and introducing you to a brand that is truly on the luxury side when it comes to men’s accessories , they also do women’s wear as well but for today’s vlog/blog we are going to zero in on men’s wear or accessories. Now I have to confess I’m a little late to the party , so to speak , when it comes to the brand CHARVET, as this is one of those brands that has been around for ages and still maintains to be relevant down to this day. I saw someone speak on this brand on TikTok and it really peaked my interest , because what he was saying was that there five things every stylish man should own. One of those five things being a pocket square from CHARVET , reason being is that they exemplify what high-end quality is and basically you wouldn’t find a better pocket square. Even though that opinion on the pocket square is truly subjective , it still interested me to look further into the brand and what it is they do aside from really nice pocket squares. Well as I looked a little further into the CHARVET brand I found that they are even more known for their custom dress shirts , arguably the best custom dress shirt in the game , once again subjective. But to get a custom made CHARVET dress shirt , you have to travel to Paris to the CHARVET showroom store in order to get the full bespoke experience. However if you are not planning to do this there are a few retailers that do carry the CHARVET line of dress shirts , suede slippers , ties , pocket squares and their robes. I will link a few of those for you at the end of this vlog / blog , but let me give you a fair warning , this is a true lux brand and it is priced as so. Owning a piece from the CHARVET brand falls under what I call the fashionable investment category , just to give you a little bit more context on that , the shirts can run you upwards of ( $675.00 ) and the ties can take you upwards of ( $295.00 ) a brand that is made for the true satorialist. The reason that I wanted to cover this brand to kick off my SP/SU series is because I believe that dressing up is truly a lost art and so many do not know how to wear or style a suit , suit separates , or even how to wear a tie or pocket square. In my fashionable opinion not only is it crucial to know some of the best brands to help you to dress up your style , but it’s equally as important to just plain know how to dress up and dress up correctly. So now lets have a look at how to wear and style CHARVET.
