Hello everyone, out there as always it’s good to see you, I’m back with another one.  It’s that time of year again, the first Monday in May has come and gone. That means another Met Gala has also come and gone, this year was a really big year because it was to be a tribute to black style and tailoring. I’t was to be a tribute to the DANDY or Black Dandyism. If you are not familiar with what a Danndy is, there are a lot of people that come to mind, but one that really comes to mind is someone that I came across on YouTube some years ago, by the name of DANDY WELLINGTON.

He is the true essence of what being a DANDY really is, so when I’t came to seeing the looks on the Blue Carpet, he’s the blueprint for what I was looking for. Now, from my perspective,  it really didn’t matter what designer you had on, only if you followed the assignment and pulled the look off correctly.  There were some that captured it, and some that basically gave you what they thought was an interpretation of it. And then there were some who just missed the mark all together,  so with that said , let’s get into it and see who truly, in my opinion, were the best dressed because they captured true DANDY style or they at least look like they tried, basically an honorable mention.

DRESSING UP YOUR SPRING / SUMMER STYLE: 2024 : MEN’S ACCESSORIES: CHARVET.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Today I am kicking off my SP/SU series , and for the first installment I wanted to jump into the satorialist side of things. , by speaking on and introducing you to a brand that is truly on the luxury side when it comes to men’s accessories , they also do women’s wear as well but for today’s vlog/blog we are going to zero in on men’s wear or accessories. Now I have to confess I’m a little late to the party , so to speak , when it comes to the brand CHARVET, as this is one of those brands that has been around for ages and still maintains to be relevant down to this day. I saw someone speak on this brand on TikTok and it really peaked my interest , because what he was saying was that there five things every stylish man should own. One of those five things being a pocket square from CHARVET , reason being is that they exemplify what high-end quality is and basically you wouldn’t find a better pocket square. Even though that opinion on the pocket square is truly subjective , it still interested me to look further into the brand and what it is they do aside from really nice pocket squares. Well as I looked a little further into the CHARVET brand I found that they are even more known for their custom dress shirts , arguably the best custom dress shirt in the game , once again subjective. But to get a custom made CHARVET dress shirt , you have to travel to Paris to the CHARVET showroom store in order to get the full bespoke experience. However if you are not planning to do this there are a few retailers that do carry the CHARVET line of dress shirts , suede slippers , ties , pocket squares and their robes. I will link a few of those for you at the end of this vlog / blog , but let me give you a fair warning , this is a true lux brand and it is priced as so. Owning a piece from the CHARVET brand falls under what I call the fashionable investment category , just to give you a little bit more context on that , the shirts can run you upwards of ( $675.00 ) and the ties can take you upwards of ( $295.00 ) a brand that is made for the true satorialist. The reason that I wanted to cover this brand to kick off my SP/SU series is because I believe that dressing up is truly a lost art and so many do not know how to wear or style a suit , suit separates , or even how to wear a tie or pocket square. In my fashionable opinion not only is it crucial to know some of the best brands to help you to dress up your style , but it’s equally as important to just plain know how to dress up and dress up correctly. So now lets have a look at how to wear and style CHARVET.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the sixth installment of my Fall Fashion series , for part six we are going to do something a little different. for todays vlog/blog I’m going to take you to meet with a new client for a Fashion Styling / Personal Fashion Shopping experience. This new client is a Financial Analyst /Service Provider , my new clients name is Dwayne Matthews. Dwayne is one of those clients that makes my job a little easier , because he knew exactly the kind of look that he wanted to accomplish as well as the fact that he came with a budget plan for spending , but didn’t mind spending the money to get the look. To get things started we kicked it off in SUITSUPPLY to pick up on some key dressy pieces and some dressy casual pieces that easily mix and match and can go from the office to taking a client out at night for drinks and light fare to discuss business plans , beyond the office in a different setting. The question is what would you need in your wardrobe to make this happen? In short you need the right suit at least two in basic colors like navy blue and gray , then you build from there with good accessory selection and casual sweaters outer wear and casual or dress pants also a pair of the right jeans preferably dark denim are also needed. With that said let’s now take a look at how to pull this off.

Hello Everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you, I’m back with another one. By the way , for those that are not too familiar with myself…JMADDD STYLES and you have logged on just in time for my latest blog/vlog post. As hard as it is to believe , the Fall Fashion Season is upon us and it’s almost time to get that fall image and style together. This latest blog/vlog is a precursor to my upcoming fall fashion videos and blog/vlog’s that are to come. So basically I wanted to give you a quick preview of what you have to look forward to in menswear , then I will more than likely go back and visit this same subject a little later on or in a few weeks. To kick it off Brown or Chocolate Brown is easily one of the hottest colors in menswear for the F.F.F. and to give you a clear picture of this I went to one of my favorite retailers , that being SUITSUPPLY , and for the upcoming season they are adding the Chocolate Brown color way for a lot of their major staple pieces. Starting with the return of the Chocolate Brown suit, for a good while now , it has been really difficult to find a nice brown suit , so when I got the email from SUITSUPPLY , That they were adding this staple back into their collection , I automatically wanted to speak on the many ways this suit could be worn from dressy to dressy casual. As well as the other items being added in brown. To show show you how versatile these items are , I mixed and matched them with items or accessories from other brands.
