Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I’m back with another one. If you are at all familiar with this vlog/blog, then you know that I periodically get into discussing accessories. In particular watch brands, to get more specific, watch brands that give you luxury at an affordable price. So whenever I find a good brand or a good brand finds me, that fits the bill of affordability with the look and quality of luxury, I have to bring it to you. The watch brand that I’m talking about today is KNOPF NEW YORK. The model of the watch that I’m going to speak of today is The KNOPF APEX SEA-LEATHER.

Soon as you get the watch out of the box, you can instantly see the quality and craftsmanship that KNOPF puts into their watches. Often enough when you see a lot of new watch brands that want to fit into the luxury watch space, they tend to fall short, once you get them in hand. They maybe cheaply made or flimsy and lacking in substance. The KNOPF APEX is none of those, the moment you pick up the watch, you see that it has a good weight to it, so it’s durable. You also notice the dramatic detail that the watch has, from the vibrant color of the band to the face of the watch that matches the color of the band. Then there is the characteristics of the watch that are the makings of a quality timepiece, such as the wind down crown and the fact that the watch is water resistant. Not to mention the fact that the minute hand and the hour hand glow in the dark. But most importantly, the price tag, the KNOPF APEX falls in at a price point of 423.99$, and in my fashionable opinion it’s well worth it.

Hello everyone out there, as always it’s good to see you. I’m back with another one. It’s about that time of year again, when the seasons change and so does your personal style. It’s when you change from light weight cool fabrics and colors to heavier fabrics and warm colors, with more fashionable options. You can layer more, with a cool leather jacket or a cashmere coat. You have more options when it comes to the types of pants to wear and tops. You can wear a wool and cashmere suit that is so warm that you don’t have to wear a coat with it, depending on the quality of the suit. There is the option to wear a sweater of different types, or throw on a hoody for those dress down days, or maybe even a good track suit for that vintage throw back street wear look. Some days there is nothing better than a good track suit to really show a range of effortless style, and of course as the seasons change, you have a variety of different styles of boots that you can wear to elevate almost any look and take your style to another level. As much as I enjoy the summer season, there is nothing like fall and winter fashion. So with that said, welcome to my annual September issue, where I’m showing you how to elevate your style using different textiles , warms colors, and how to utilize the art of dressing up and throwing on a nice suit. Because let’s face it, sometimes you have to step up your style game, and if you are not sure how, that’s what I’m here for.

Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you,I’m back with another one. Welcome to Vol.1 of my Fall Fashion Spectacular. Now you maybe wondering , what is The Fall Fashion Spectacular all about? The best way that I can describe it is like a magazine or video in vlog/blog form , it’s basically an extension of The JMADDD STYLES SEPTEMBER ISSUE. But since September is over I had to bring you The JMADDD STYLES FALL FASHION SPECTACULAR. For the first installment today , I’m taking you back with me on another Personal Fashion Styling & Shopping session. I’m picking back up with a former client that I introduced to you in THE JMADDD STYLE SEPTEMBER ISSUE:VOL.1. That’s where I first introduced you to W.C. CLARK whom was interested in improving his overall style and image , we started with working on his suit game and got off to what I would say was a successful start to his style journey. But he had a plan and he also wanted to improve his casual and dressy casual style for work and social purposes. He is my personal favorite kind of client ,because he is what you call a recurring client, basically meaning that he recognizes his style needs and realizes exactly where he wants to go and is ready to make it happen. For this latest styling session we started with building his casual wardrobe from shoes to clothing , in order to do this , I had to pinpoint what it is that he needed. So Much like improving his suit game , I had to start with what I call his casual basics. Just to give you an idea…

  1. Suede or Leather Jacket
  2. Polo shirts: Long or short sleeve
  3. Different types of jeans: Slim Straight & Baggy
  4. Henley collar shirts
  5. Cashmere & regular wool sweaters
  6. Casual sneakers & traditional sneakers
  7. Dressy casual pants: Chinos & Dress Slacks
  8. Quilted vest.

And as you will see , we got off to a pretty good start, the importance of the list is to give you a good place or foundation to start , then we can build out from there , and continue to add pieces as needed. Building a well rounded / stylish yet timeless wardrobe.

DRESSING UP YOUR SP/SU STYLE:2024:PT.7:WHAT’S NEW IS OLD & WHAT’S OLD IS NEW: SERGIO TACCHINI.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. For the seventh installment of my spring / summer series , I’m speaking on and showing you how to wear a brand from days gone by. It’s one of those brands that when it hit in the 90’s it was at the top of the sportswear / streetwear / active wear fashionable food chain. And it’s back now stronger than ever , and if you are familiar with this vlog / blog and the type of style that resonates with me , then you know I love to see the return of a brand from yesteryear that has the ability to still come off strong to a generation that is not familiar with it. The brand that I’m speaking of today , incase you have not figured it out yet , is SERGIO TACCHINI. When this brand hit in the early 90’s it was virtually unmatched when it came to style and quality and had a price tag to match , at least it seemed really expensive back then anyway. The only brand that could rival it back then was FILA, which has also made a fairly succesful return , both brands had the same aesthetic and I was a major fan of both. But you best believe on their return I was at the front of the retail line to get my hands on a piece of their clothing especially the velour sweatsuits. Basically though brands like this are what I consider to be generationally fashionable , meaning that the look of these brands means more to the generation that saw them when they first hit years ago as oppose the generation that knows very little about them and does not coordinate fashion the same way. I call the looks from the brands , The MONEY MAKIN MITCH LOOK. For those that are not familiar , that’s a reference to the movie PAID IN FULL , so if  YKYK. But if you don’t know , then go take a look at the movie and then get back to me , you will definitely know exactly what I’m talking about. The greatest thing about the return of these brands is they didn’t try to reinvent what made them ICONIC in the first place , they came back with the same style and look , maybe just a slightly more modern cut. Either way you look at it , I’m just glad to see the return of this brand. Now let me show you why you should be glad also.

DRESSING UP YOUR SP/SU STYLE 2024: SUITSUPPLY.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Welcome to the third installment of my Spring / Summer series , where I’m once agin speaking on the latest and greatest from one of personal favorite retail establishments. That being SUITSUPPLY , if you are at all familiar with this vlog / blog then you know that each spring and summer season or fall and winter season I do a segment on SUITSUPPLY. Why is that ? You maybe asking , well this is most definitely one of those IF YOU KNOW , YOU KNOW kind of scenario’s . Shopping at SUITSUPPLY is truly a men’s wear experience , the customer service is topnotch and the shopping experience is always just that an experience and you always leave out , with no doubt in your mind that you are going to return again. When it comes to me styling clients it’s one of the first places that I take a look at to get your the look you need to step your style game up. Which is really important in my fashionable opinion , because if you can put on a streetwear fit with the greatest of ease , then you should equally be able to put on a casual or dressy casual or just plain dressy look just as easy. After all if you don’t know by now a well tailored suit can get you in some doors that a streetwear look may not be able to get you in or in as easily. Next it’s also important in my fashionable opinion to help you to learn how to dress your style up , and I say that because in this day and time stepping up your style game or just plain knowing how to dress correctly for the right occasion is pretty much always a lost art , and thats on the part of both men and women. I really came to that conclusion , about two weeks ago or so and I was out and about at an event or concert , now depending on the concert you do not necessarily have to be dressed up. But when the show is at a symphony hall or opera house , then as a whole your fit should say , that is where you at , and some years ago that would have been a complete no brainer. However things have changed and the majority just doesn’t clean up or know how to clean up for the right occasion and at a certain age in your life that is something that you should just know how to do , or be willing to learn how to do. If not then that is what people like me are for. With that said it’s once again time for me to help you to dress up your SP/SU Style.
