For today’s vlog/blog , I’m speaking on dressy casual style and how to capture it. Many often have trouble distinguishing just exactly what dressy casual means, the question often rises…what is meant by dressy casual style? Or what do I put on ? When the invite says to come dressy casual. Well today I’m not just telling you how to capture a dressy casual look , I’m actually going to show you how to put together dressy casual looks. But when it comes to being dressy casual, just keep in mind that it’s pretty much almost the same thing as business casual except dressy casual has more options and the look is a little less rigid with more room for style expression. Of course today both business casual and dressy casual can take on different meanings depending on where you work , or who sent the invite or the venue that you are going to be at. Hello everyone out there as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. Today aside from my usual intro , I would like to start out letting you know that…I’M JUST HERE TO TAKE YOU ON A FASHIONABLE JOURNEY. So what do I mean by that? Well 2023 is coming to an end or by the time you read this , has already come to an end, and if you have been with me for the past few years then you know each year I basically take you on a fashionable journey throughout the year and 2023 has been no different. So as we come to the end of yet another year , we also come to the end of one more fashionable journey , that I would like to thank you all for taking with me. As of 2024 it is time start all over again from this point. This year I have taken you from NYFW through various other topics and demonstrations including various personal fashion styling sessions with clients so that you could get an up close view of what it is like to work with me personally on enhancing your own personal wardrobe and style. In 2024 you can look forward to seeing more of everything hopefully this time even better than the last , but before we can get started here is the 2023 STYLE RAP-UP.

THE STAYING POWER OF A STREETWEAR BRAND: PAPER PLANES.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you…I’m back with another one. Today I am back in my streetwear bag , if you are the least bit familiar with this vlog/blog or my YouTube channel , then you know that streetwear holds a special place in my fashionable rolodex. If you are not to familiar then you may be asking , why is that ? Well streetwear is where I got my intro into the world of fashion , from watching brands like KARL KANI or FUBU and how they got their start all the way up to being inspired to start my own brand many years ago as I saw those guys growing and taking over in the streetwear space or genre. The MAGIC Market Place was an amazing thing to see at that time as all those brands would converge on Vegas and so to speak compete side by side with one another for various buyers business. Being that I saw all of this happening and through my hat into the streetwear ring as well , I can appreciate how difficult it is and can be to maintain a streetwear brand. So it is always interesting to see how those various brands and even brands of today that have been built off the backs of those original streetwear brands have and do to maintain longevity past being just a flash in the fashionable pan and there is no other genre of fashion that is harder to keep alive and relevant than a streetwear brand. But there are those that have managed to do this be it past or present , and the brand that we are taking a look at today is The PAPER PLANES brand. This is not the first time that I have spoke on this fairly new brand that falls under The Roc Nation umbrella owned and co-owned by JAY-Z and Emory jones , and that is why it fits perfectly into my STAYING POWER OF A STREETWEAR BRAND segment. This brand was introduced somewhere around 2018 or so and continues to grow and progress to the point of going from mostly on line sales to now it’s first brick and mortar location in lower Manhattan , basically proving that slow and steady growth is better in most cases than over saturation that can cause any brand to fade faster than it should. In short, PAPER PLANES falls under the IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW category , and I have to say that I’m a major fan of this new age streetwear brand. So with that said lets have a look at what you can expect from PAPER PLANES for this current fall/winter season.

Hello everyone out there , as always it’s good to see you , I’m back with another one. We have reached the seventh and final installment of my FALL FASHION SPECTACULAR series. So welcome to THE FALL FASHION FINALE , and for this seventh and final part of the series I’m talking overcoats and how to style them. To do this I’m taking you on a little shopping spree so to speak , visiting four different designer brands to give you a range of styles and price points to look at in order to get the idea that you don’t necessarily have to break the bank on a nice overcoat , unless you just absolutely want to , and there is nothing wrong with that either. Just to give you an idea , a nice overcoat can go as high as 800.00$ or more , to as low as 150.00$. But regardless as to rather you pay 800.00$ or 150.00$ if you style the overcoat right , you can always come out with a great timeless look that is high on style , and that is exactly what you want. The brands that we are going to take a look at today are SUITSUPPLY , RALPH LAUREN , BANANA REPUBLIC and H&M, to, as I was saying before offer you a variety of styles and price ranges. As a fashionable sidebar ,the overcoat is or should be a major staple in your wardrobe , because it shows that you are versatile when it comes to your style game and it creates a look that can easily transition from dressy to casual almost effortlessly.
