Then there was Suitsupply

Hello everyone out there as always, it’s good to see you. I AM JMADDD STYLES and I would like to welcome you to my latest blog post , Then there was Suitsupply. I have been talking about Suitsupply for some time now , since the first time that I ever herd of it in the pages of Sportswear International magazine, some time ago , before this phenomenal chain hit the states.

But when I finally had the chance and opportunity to have what I call The Suitsupply experience, I could not wait to see if the new menswear store could and would live up to the hype that was written about it.

Well when the store opened in Washington D.c. , I did just that , and what I discovered was that it’s not just about finding a great suit when it comes to Suitsupply , but it’s a major retail experience, infact it’s by far one of the best if not the best retail experiences I’ve ever had next to shopping at Nordstrom ,

especially when it comes to menswear , because at this day and time you don’t always find great places that have menswear that doesn’t fall underneath the disposable fashion , horrible fit and low quality, specifically when it comes to finding a men’s suit that will stand the test of time.

From the moment you step in and one of the sales people approaches you , instantly you want to walk out with a suit or at least try one on for future reference, also do yourself a favor and check out the custom made to measure service as well. When it comes down to it , so far as an off the rack suit goes , in my fashionable opinion it gets no better,

so far as quality fit , and little details such as the functioning buttons on the suit sleeve, known as a surgeon’s cuff , for this suit I went with a single breasted two buttoned look , the fit is so on point that it looks as if it was made for me.

I was so pleased the first time around, that the next time that I returned to the Georgetown store in Washington D.c. , I came back looking for a classic look , in the form of the all wool double breasted grey pinstripe. The moment that this suit went on , I knew I could not leave it behind, as I was saying before it’s hard to walk into the showroom and walk out with nothing, once again the fit was impeccable and the in house tailoring was exceptional.

If you take a closer look at the picture above where I have the grey suit on , you will see a wall of accessories, full of ties and on the other side you see the wall o f shirts as pictured above , then they keep an assortment of pocket squares in the drawers on the floor.

When I went back for the double breasted suit , I decided to pick up two wool winter ties and pocket square as well to complete the look of the suit with accessories of the same material and weight , and all that is just from two very enjoyable visits to the Georgetown store.

One thing that Suitsupply realizes is the better the experience, the more likely a consumer is to buy and give you the return business, and that is especially from a visual standpoint as you can clearly see from these pictures of the Soho NY store , the next one that I’m planning to pay a visit to shortly in the near future.

Basically if you haven’t been to Suitsupply yet , then you are truly missing out on a great menswear retail experience, so I recommend that you get to one soon and see what I mean , if not shop the looks online at ( ) guaranteed you won’t be disappointed. There it is , once again we have reached the end of yet another blog post. I AM JMADDD STYLES and this has been Then there was Suitsupply. That’s it for now, so until the next time…IM GONE…!!!
