Hello out there as always it’s good to see you. You could be anywhere else in the world but you’re here with me. I would like to welcome you to what is truly going to be my final blog post of the year. Welcome to Atlantis : Aquaman Style Inspiration, now I’ve been sitting on the idea of this blog for a little while. Because as you know , I usually jump right on new comicbook movies for Fashionable Inspiration, but for this one I had to really deliberate over and figure out a way to turn this new on screen triumph into a fashion inspired blog post.
But as I often say Fashionable Inspiration is everywhere, including the pages of your favorite comic’s. Well after much creative deliberation , im finally to bring you the looks that the Aquaman movie and comicbooks have inspired within my Fashionable imagination. The looks that I came with for this blog post were or are inspired by three of the major characters from the film as well as the comicbook. Starting with of course Author Curry himself (Aquaman)
For this look I wanted capture the look and base colors of the original Aquaman suit. To do this I had to go with an actual character shirt , combined with more highend pieces to complement the shirt and build an unexpected lux look around the T-shirt.
For the next inspired look , I went with one of the major villains of the film and the books , that being Black Manta.
For this look , I went with more of an athletic style , capturing the look of Black Manta , by styling a more mat-black sweatsuit accented by a new high tech cross trainer, finishing the look with some red lensed sports shades to capture the true look and feel of Black Manta.
Then for the last look that I was inspired by the film to create , capturing the look of Princess Mera , which I have to say was probably the most challenging of the looks to create, so far as what direction to go in.
So once again I went with a more highend designer savy look , capturing the green and gold colors that she is most known for. To do this , I used a more classic blouse top , paired it with a jogger styled pant and finished the look with a gold pump and gold accent watch , perfectly capturing the feel and look of Princess Mera.
There you have it all my looks inspired by this visually incredible screen adaptation of a classic comicbook hero and with that said we have just reached the end of the final blog post of 2018. Hopefully I will see more of you in 2019 , as I have lots of fashionable content to cover. This has been Welcome to Atlantis: Aquaman Style inspiration. I AM JMADDD STYLES and that’s for now , so until the next time….IM GONE!!!
